I was happy to try Johnn'ys Hots for the first time today even though I've been in the neighborhood for years. I heard that the hot sausage was the pick for a top choice there. The sandwich was prepared fast and tasted fresh and delicious. The hot sausage had a moderate spice level with great flavor. I enjoyed that and a cup of coffee at Penn Treaty Park across the street.

Hands down one of the best spots in philly. Try the hot sausage with spicy brown mustard, onions and sharp. Also I have a friend who highly recommends the combo (fish cake and sausage).

Been coming for quite sometime now . Today has by far been the worst experience ever ! I usually get a chicken cheesesteak on a reg roll and today for some reason it was on a seeded roll (which was all soggy ) my fries were cold like they have been made and just sitting ! The side of American cheese was pretty thick and hard to dip my fries in .33$ for a chicken cheesesteak and 2 cheese fries 🥴 way too expensive … I prob won’t come here for anything other then a hot sausage
