Wow. Pleasantly surprised. We were staying at the Switch House wedding venue across the street and walked over to Johnny Hots. Super clean and friendly staff. The iced coffee was better and less expensive than my daily Dunkin. My sister had the eggs sandwich with broccoli rab. Highly recommend. The park across the street is lovely too.
I was happy to try Johnn'ys Hots for the first time today even though I've been in the neighborhood for years. I heard that the hot sausage was the pick for a top choice there. The sandwich was prepared fast and tasted fresh and delicious. The hot sausage had a moderate spice level with great flavor. I enjoyed that and a cup of coffee at Penn Treaty Park across the street.
Hands down one of the best spots in philly. Try the hot sausage with spicy brown mustard, onions and sharp. Also I have a friend who highly recommends the combo (fish cake and sausage).
