As a safety concern, there are sometimes questionable individuals that loiter and dine-in, but in terms of online delivery it may be a better suit for most. As far as food goes, the pricing and quality is decent for most major cities but unfortunately falls far below Philadelphia's food standards. If you would want more choices of pizza's at the exact same prices, and in a more comforting and kid friendly atmosphere with philly's quality, you would be better off going to Giovani's Bar & Grill on Chestnut street. Or if you are in the area as a local, than City View Pizza, (located on the same street at the end of the block) is the way to go in terms of cleanliness and quality. I do hope that in a few years this review will be irrelevant and John's Pizza will improve, and I wish them good luck in future, but for now (unfortunately) this is my politely-honest take.

I'm saddened that the pizza wasn't the same as it used to be( a few years ago). Tough dough and even tougher chicken on the BBQ chicken pizza. The chicken fajita was pretty tasty. No one in the house wanted more than 1 slice. To not waste money by throwing them away( three total) I ate pizza several times a day for a few days until I couldn't do it anymore. Staff/ Owner was super nice. Unfortunately not even an offer of a free pie( pizza) would get me to return 😕

As a college student, it's a great place to split a cheap pizza and some fries. It's nothing fancy but if you get a pizza with Buffalo or barbecue chicken it'll taste decent. Add all the seasonings and you've got a respectable pizza!

For the price, the quality was great and gnoshed on a good chicken cheesesteak. Great for a quick lunch.
My team and I eat here atleast once a week for lunch or breakfast. Everything is consistently good and quick. I recommend their breakfast platters. My team also loves their square pizza! Their chicken wings are pretty good, I also like their buffalo chicken tenders.

Breakfast time, I was so happy to see the lady at desk taking my order so fast and pleasantly and bringing my order on to my car. Price was reasonable too. A positive start of the day!!

Okay so, I go to the community college near this place and honestly, for me, it's a godsend. I have 3 hour period between classes, so I go here to grab lunch.
Place is very inexpensive, and they have some good specials to make it better. ON that, So far everything I've gotten from them has been really good, t most I'd say I wish their fries were seasoned, but salt and pepper is always around there so I don't care.
Atmosphere is very chill and homey in a way, on every occasion I find myself talking with the nice women working the registers when it's been slower. They have a nice area to dine in as well, and overall a friendly feel.
Overall Maybe I'm just easy to please, but the people there seem chill and nice and the food is good and inexpensive, so I'm almost always going when I have class!
10/10. Two slices + can for $7.25
