This was some of the best water ice I’ve ever had! I got the lemon flavor and it was perfectly flavored!!! The line was way down the street but it went fast. My husband (not from Philly) was underwhelmed and shocked anyone could eat more than a small but this was probably his first water ice so I think his expectations were skewed. Prices were very fair and I was happy!

Best in the city! Always have amazing flavors of water ice and ice cream. It’s a bit of a wait but totally worth the wait. It’s cash only but they also take Venmo.

The water ice is alright not that good too sugary, but the customer service is horrible bc back on July 2024 me and my sister were trying to pay with card and they said cash only then rushed us plus it was too hot. Never go there again.

I stopped in here on a perfect summer day, so there was a significant line out the front door. FYI: They also have daily specials, but they are only listed inside the building, once you are at the head of the line, and basically 10 seconds before you have to order. Hope you didn't already pick out what you wanted! Just kidding, but that is really awkward.
Portion sizes are enormous, and value for money is really good! I got a mix of the cherry water ice and the (seasonal) Butter Pecan ice cream.
Be aware that whatever size you choose, they *heap* it in there. They don't skimp, and I love that attitude.
Highly recommended to take a detour or entire trip here!

Famous water ice. We got the pineapple flavor. The ice was a little different than Rita's..in a good way. Much less watery. Pineapple flavor could have used more pineapple but still good.
There is no seating here..just a corner shop for takeout.

Mixing the water ice with ice cream was perfect! Went with pineapple ice with vanilla ice cream and cherry ice on the bottom. Highly recommend the first two together, and excited to try out other combos!
