Best water ice i ever had. It was refreshing and light. The lines went quick. Prices were reasonable for the quality. Only a few selections but I was okay with that.
Had a themed Gelati (raspberry flavor) for the Linkin Park popup they hosted a while back and it was fantastic. First time ever trying this sort of thing, would definitely recommend them for anyone thay loves ice cream/gelato type desserts!

Growing up in New York, I take pride in a few hometown staples: bagels, pizza, and Italian ice.
Since moving to Philly, John’s Water Ice is the only place that truly reminds me of the Italian ice I grew up with. It’s the real deal.
I’ll gladly wait in line as long as it takes to get my cherry ice — it’s that good.
Nothing else like it around here. 10/10 recommend.

I visit from North Jersey once or twice a year and this is possibly my favorite place in all of Philly. The ices are the perfect texture, refreshing and not too sweet. They're not artificially tasting in the slightest as some lady on yelp exclaimed.
My only wish is they'd be more flavors on the special rotation -- tangerine would probably be amazing if it fit their process.

This was some of the best water ice I’ve ever had! I got the lemon flavor and it was perfectly flavored!!! The line was way down the street but it went fast. My husband (not from Philly) was underwhelmed and shocked anyone could eat more than a small but this was probably his first water ice so I think his expectations were skewed. Prices were very fair and I was happy!
