Great nachos and mexican food. Excellent bar service too!
Food fresh & unique options
Server was extremely rude and nasty with us. We asked for certain things to be put on the side due to food restrictions. Server claims “she can’t do that because there’s a language barrier with the staff”. Then she brings out an extra order of chicken tacos and acted like it was our fault. I told her I would eat them and she got nasty with me. She could have done her job and repeated the order before putting it in instead of storming off so abruptly. Didn’t smile once. Didn’t say thank you or have a good night. Just a horrible attitude all because we asked for things to put on the side for ONE dish. I still tipped her 20% and she gave me a nasty dirty look as I left. Horrible experience when I’ve been coming there for over 10 years.
Met the owner, Casey! Very friendly and welcoming us into his restaurant. Everything was great my fav was pomegranate guacamole yummy!
The mahi mahi tacos were amazing. The toppings add the perfect amount of flavors to the fish & the Marguarita was also excellent.
Wow never encountered someone so rude that work in the industry
It’s crazy how who ever answered the phone and server just gets away with anything this days
The food was tasty that is the only good thing about it.
Just order to go next time
I don't even remember what the heck I ordered now, but I do remember that it was super delicious! Our waitress was amazing too. Not an overly large place, but definitely somewhere I would visit again.
Wouldn’t recommend this place to a dog. The service is as trash as the food. Every plate we got was chipped and dirty
The staff was friendly, which is the only positive thing about this place.
However, they are clearly not used to serving food: we had to ask mutiple times for water refills and litterally had to put our dirty plates on a table next to us cause the waiter would bring us food without clearing the old ones...
Speaking of: the food was by all means purely disgusting and I was feeling sick right after eating it. The nachos, enchillada and the quesadilla were sobby and had a sour aftertaste and what was sold as chicken was pork at best.
It was also extremely cold in there and the people on other tables were basically screaming, not really making it a nice place to have dinner.
This is a cool bar for sure and the service and atmosphere are more adapted to that. They should stick to serving drinks only and stop branding the place as a restaurant.
Bartender wanted no part of our group of 8. He was rude and didn’t want our business.

My go to spot for happy hour margarita pitchers (no food on happy hour)
Amazing beer list, good food.
Boy a time was had her last night! Definitely returning!
I was lucky enough to have a spot at the bar for the Super Bowl at Jose’s. What a terrific job they did selling for this event. They didn’t oversell so that the place was overcrowded like I’m sure so many places may have, I witnessed many places for the NFC that absolutely were over capacity. Our bartender Will had his momentum down and had everyone taken care of from food to drinks and processing everything with ease. I’m sure there were bars with lines waiting for drinks for over 20 minutes. At Jose’s as soon as the initial surge was serviced there wasn’t a wait because they prepared appropriately. They had dedicated bar backs, servers for the tables, and clearly had ready stocked the bars and kitchens to be ready for the big event. I can’t say how happy I was to have room to breathe and to have the full food menu and not a nonsense ‘game day’ menu that some places have. Don’t get me wrong every person working at Jose’s was MOVING, they earned every dollar they made that night.
Bars should take note of the professionalism and integrity at Jose Pistola’s and how they run these big events.
Was very excited to try this place however they did not allow us into the restaurant without a vaccine card We will not support any business that discriminates against vaccinated status while most businesses in the area are open to all.
