I tasted a friends food from there it was a fish platter was good, I order the same thing but flounder platter fish was thin dry,Mac and cheese taste like 3 days old watery that was money waited food went in the trash that was 3 months ago what happened to Julian's they had the best food in Olney area I was told.

After searching on line for a good soul food place that does fish the old school way(with cornmeal coating) I came across Julians and after reading rave reviews on YeIp and Trip Advisor I decided to give it a try.I must say that I am totally disappointed with the food. I ordered the Whiting with yams, collard greens and mac & cheese. The collard greens were mushy, over cooked and tasted like they were from a can, the yams were absolutely disgusting I don't think they weren't baked and they had no flavor(which for a soul food place I found astonishing)the fish wasn't seasoned at all and had no crunch to them(like it should with the coating of cornmeal I think they used flour)the best thing was the mac & cheese.I definitely won't be buying nor recommending this(not)soul food place to anyone.

Spent 60 dollars on 3 different platters the Mac and cheese is horrible I’m so frustrated I tried calling back but now nobody answering the phone I will never spend another dime with them

I got breakfast with my familyFood was greatThey use small eggs because I didn't have
The chicken wings was good and freshly cooked. 10/10 Potato salad was pretty good But it was over powered with celery seeds. Less celery seeds.7/10I asked for collard greens and received green beans. The greens beans was a 6 on a scale of 1-10.

So the fried whole wings are a 10 BEST IN THE CITY!!!! Potato salad is a 10!!!!! Whiting is a 7, small but good!!! Cabbage is a 5! Yams a 4, needs a little more brown sugar and butter, just a little! String beans a 5! Rolls a 4.5 just needs butter! Turkey wings and gravy a 2.5 they need to let them brown in the oven and throw in some peppers and onions and a little more seasoning. Overall a 4.5!!!! I'll be back!
