Their DJ said a derogatory comment towards me over the microphone, used my name specifically!!!. One guy(former cop with a cane) literally, stood so close next to my girls and I, would not move and would not buy us a drink and did not want anyone else to. First drink I purchased was ok. $20 lemon drop is pretty steep to me. The next needed so much work I wanted to ask for my money back. Overall, music is pretty good. Come with a guy that is generous and knows how to have a good time or come prepared to cover yourself ladies!

Nice atmosphere came for my dad’s retirement get together, very intimate a little tight with seating but it’s not a huge place but very nice inside and the food was very good, salmon rolls were a little salty but other then that all was amazing, great customer service will definitely be back

From my recent experiences, the best part of Julz is the music. The fried food is extremely salty as well as the rice. I ordered greens and it was mixed with cabbage. The drinks are overpriced and watered down. $16 for a Tito’s lemon drop in a plastic cup full of ice was unbelievable! Ordered a $24 fried catfish fish platter, received 1 piece of fish. The barmaid said they give you 2 pieces “sometimes” 😵💫 I’m done!

Julz Bar never disappoints. The bartenders and waitresses are always genuinely nice and welcoming, which honestly makes a huge difference. The food is consistently good, and the drinks are strong; definitely not watered down or stingy.
I also had a small discrepancy with my debit card during my last visit, and the way they handled it really stood out. Everything was addressed with class and grace, no attitude, no runaround. That kind of customer service goes a long way.
I’ll absolutely continue to support Julz Bar. Great vibes, great service, and a place that actually cares about its customers. Oh and don’t forget DJ SOUL is literally the best in the city!! 🎶 🕺 🪩
I ordered 4 sides of yams and Mac & cheese. I was charged more than the prices on the menu. If the prices have changed someone should have informed me. The yams tasted like they were straight from a can just warmed up. The Mac & cheese had all this extra seasoning in it, the pasta was undercooked too. An hour later I threw up all of the food. So not buying food from this place ever again.
