Fabulous dining experience in Collingswood! So glad that June BYOB is now in NJ. We ordered the tasting menu and were not disappointed. Friendly staff, excellent professional service and perfectly delicious french cuisine!

My 5th time there and it is by far my favorite restaurant in South Jersey. Not your typical restaurant. This food has class and delicious

This restaurant is an absolute gem! I went with friends thinking it was going to be a pretentious with food that I wasn’t going to enjoy and be a heavy meal. I couldn’t be more wrong. Our dinner was a creative journey that the chef took us on. We had the Sunday prefixed 4 course dinner in which each course was a delicate and flavorful experience. Nalini our waitress was a pure joy- knowledgeable, funny, attentive without interfering with our experience. She described each course like she was describing a work of art. Please if you’ve been looking for a new place to try, definitely put June BYOB on your list.

Perfection!! If I could sum up my experience here on April 6, it would absolutely be perfection!! Let me first say I am a meat and potatoes kind of gal. My pallet is very pedestrian. So when my friend suggested dining here I was a bit apprehensive. I don’t like seafood. No way would I even think about trying seafood or frog legs so what would this place have to offer me. Even more so, we were going on a Sunday, where it’s a prefixed menu in which you don’t know the menu until the morning of. What was I thinking agreeing to this??
The room was beautiful when you walk in. Bright, elegant, and sophisticated. We were greeted immediately and shown our table. The menu put me at ease as I saw 2 things I definitely like.
Our waitress Nalini was warm, funny and attentive. Lucas also helped with the service and very attentive as well. Nalini described everything on the menu as if it was a work of art- little did I know each course WAS a work of art!
Our starter was butternut squash soup with a toasted meringue- this may have been the best soup I’ve ever had!! I literally was thinking of it the entire next day. It was the perfect amount- after all I still had 3 more courses. The gnocchi was in a lobster sauce- you read the part where I said I don’t like seafood. I told Nalini if it wouldn’t be too much to ask to just not put the sauce on it, I would appreciate it. She told the chef who asked if I’d like a truffle butter sauce instead. Looking at my friend for guidance, I agreed. Let me just say it was absolute delectable!! I think I could eat that everyday! During our service Nalini was always close by, but never hovering which was nice. Our next course was a short rib shepherd’s pie that melted in your mouth and definitely left me wanting more! Lastly our dessert was Paris de Brest chocolate mousse. I’ll be honest, I don’t quite know what the pastry was- seemed buttery, but it accompanied the mousse beautifully. This was a 4 course tasting menu. I went into thinking I’ll probably have to stop somewhere on the way home because I’ll still be hungry. That was not the case. I left there pleasantly full and my friends all saying we are coming back SOON!
I appreciated that the service was light, engaging, knowledgeable and we never ever felt rushed. In fact we were there for 3 hours and purely enjoyed the dinner from beginning to end. I loved the fact that the chef was able to offer a sub for the lobster sauce creating a gnocchi I won’t soon forget!! Everything was so delicate and light that it really was the complete opposite of what I thought our night was going to consist of.
This dinner wasn’t any special occasion just 4 friends meeting up, but it certainly did turn into a special dinner.
If you are looking to some place to dine that might be a little out of your comfort zone, or if you are looking for just a great meal with great service in which you can tell the chef puts great love and pride into each dish, I highly recommend June BYOB. You will wonder why you never came before:))

This is a belated review I've been meaning to write.

My wife and I have been to June 3-4 times. Always a wonderful experience with excellent food and good service. For Valentine's last year, we arranged a reservation and... I got COVID (but luckily did not lose my taste or smell!)

The staff and kitchen were kind enough to pack us up a delicious meal at the last minute so I could still enjoy a meal with my wife in quarantine (it was delicious - perfectly cooked fish).

In a town of excellent restaurants, June is top tier. Thanks to the chef and staff!

We had a reservation today at 5:00. We were offered a special rib eye with lobster tails on top. We got a rib eye cut into small pieces with lobster claws on top. I asked about the tail and was told he said lobster meat. That is not what I heard. Then I heard another waiter telling another table about the dish. He clearly said lobster tails.

First time, was a little intrigued, however, somewhat disappointed. Finally found a local spot to try Beef Wellington but they missed the mark. I was not fond of the spinach. This definitely was not a classic rendition. I worked in a French restaurant and that was our signature dish. Goose liver pate and duxelle. The spinach made the encrute too soggy. This dustorted the presentation and thus the enjoyment was deminished. The service was good but the atmosphere was not. Too crowded, not enough breathing room and definitely too loud. C+
