Great service. The restaurant specializes in French cuisine and is considered one of the best in South Jersey. The food is delicious, but the portions are small, and I left still feeling hungry for the price I paid. Unfortunately, there are no vegetarian options on the menu, not even a salad. You can ask the chef for a vegetarian dish, but they do not tell you what it will be in advance, so you have no idea what you will get.
As I like to say - June is the best French restaurant in Philadelphia... It is of course in NJ but that doesn't stop it from being the best. The chef has worked in French dining most of his career and it shows - complex classics flawlessly executed, new twists on dishes with a flair for creativity. Sunday tasting menu- food was good, service was not. Sat for quite a bit before server acknowledged us, finally opened our bottle of wine but never poured it, brought us our food courses in the wrong order, we ran out of water that was never refilled, lagged at clearing away dirty dishes, forgot our coffee with dessert, and was basically non-communicative or missing throughout dinner. Chairs were oddly small and uncomfortable…just really not the experience we were expecting...
