This place is run by an arrogant employee, who pointed out to me how the restaurant won a non-relevant award "back-in-the-day". I ordered the large curry goat ($25, 9/9/24), and it was dull and boring. They use spices that they must have purchased from the grocery chain, Sav-a-Lot. You cannot make authentic Jamaican food from cheap, dry spices. The large container consisted of 55% rice and beans, 15% collar greens, 15% plain sautéed cabage,15% curry goat for $25. The food is plain and dull.

Parking: They are located right off of Greene St and Chelten Ave behind the library. Parking can be difficult during dinner time.

This was my 2nd visit, and the food was very dry. Mac& cheese was like Velveeta, stew chicken super dry , greens no flavor, cabbage over cooked , I just hate black businesses not doing better but it won’t be a 3rd time.

The food used to be so good here. I don’t know what happened…there used to be a woman that used to cook. I don’t know if they still got her but everything was nasty and under season.jerk wings are dried out greens taste like dish water and Mac was basic

Not sure what the negative reviews are about. A lot say the flavor is missing. I agree that things could be seasoned a little more, but my oxtail platter was still delicious. The sides were generous portions. Mac and cheese was good, a little overcooked. The collards may as well have been canned they were so overcooked. The cabbage was pretty good and still firm. Only thing I won't get again is the collards. Will come back

The food was delicious I enjoyed every bit of it. The barabque chicken was cooked and seasoned great. The collard greens and potatoes salad was off the hook. This seems like my Friday spot❤️
