I purchased 2 large platters and let me tell you the food was so good. I had no bad critiques on any of the food.I ordered BBQ jerk chicken with yams Mac and cheese rice and peas and collard greens. Everything was delicious! My husband is jamaican and he approved. The price was great and food was delicious. We will definitly be back to try different entrees. 1 large platter can serve 3 people if your big eater maybe 2. Definitly worth the price!

Sorrel drink is perfect! Plantains - excellent. Cabbage - tasty! Service is not friendly which I don't care about. Food overall was mediocre - I had jerk chicken which said it was leg quarters but texture was more like extremely dry breasts. rice and beans was relatively flavorless. I'd still give this place another try because it was very clean and reasonably priced.

The guy who served my food today wasn't friendly at all...and got frustrated at me, because I came back into the restaurant after the sauce from either the jerk chicken or fish leaked out in my car and on my clothes. He preceeded to tell me the plastic bag cost 50 cents. I didn't mind paying for the plastic bag. If he didn't piled all that sauce on in the first place or said something about getting a plastic bag...that wouldn't happened.

I like this place a lot, I used too go to Ron's on broad Street. But Ron's fell off, the food isn't as good as it used too be. It doesn't have the taste of the Caribbean anymore.

The restaurant is very clean. It has a beautiful set up of plants up front that welcomes you in. The service could have been better. The women at the front was very short and unwelcoming. The food, was mediocre! The cabbage had no seasoning! The plantain was big and hard. I asked for sauce on the rice and I was given a chunky sauce that was literally only on the top layer of the rice. Food is a source of nutrition , it is supposed to be cooked with intention. I expected better and I was disappointed...Vegetarian options: They have a very few vegetarian options. The vegetables they serve are all soggy and unseasoned.
