I visited Kabobeesh on a Friday afternoon on a holiday weekend because I remembered how good the food was a few years back. I took my food to go and enjoyed it at home 40 minutes later. Go for the food. The aforementioned young man in glasses pleasantly greeted me at the door as did a pleasant woman behind the counter. I had not looked at the menu so I asked the best question “What should I eat?” I got Haleem - boneless beef short rib beef with barley and onions - a weekend...

This place has exceptional food, the staff here is excellent. Very respectful and patient. I’ve been several times and I almost recommend this restaurant to family and friends. If you ever find yourself in Philadelphia you should definitely check it out!

The music was very loud and the tv was as well. Didn’t make for a pleasant atmosphere. The prices are a bit high—$30 for two of us. The Food is also very very spicy. Even the green sauce they give you is way too hot. I’ve been to the kabobeesh in west Philly and it wasn’t nearly as spicy as this location. I really like the west Philly location and will return there but I won’t be back here. Even though it’s much cleaner and a newer building, I think the food is better...
