I've been happily ordering sushi from Kansai for years, but a few weeks ago I ordered delivery as usual and there was a roach in my food. Can't be sure if this is a new problem. Very disgusted and disappointed.

This is the best and most consistent sushi restaurant in the area. I have never eaten inside but get takeout probably every other week on average. The sushi and sashimi always taste fresh and the hot appetizers are flavorful and delicious. Love Kansai!

If you are looking for the best sushi in Philly, Kansai is the place! I'm always talking about this place with friends, everyone deserves to experience Kansai food. Fresh food, quick service and the best selection of sushi rolls I've ever seen! I've never had anything as delicious as the godzilla roll, highly recommend! The staff is always welcoming and you can either dine-in or just pick-up your food.

To start, we’re from California so maybe our idea of sushi is inflated. The portions are quite smaller than expected. Pictures are reference in size of hand. One of the rolls tasted like lettuce only, another tasted like play dough so the salmon just wasn’t right. Granted, we ordered off door dash which took 65 minutes to get here, I’m hoping it would taste better fresh. Regardless, we can cross this off of our list. Not eating again.
We love Kansai. The sushi and sashimi are always fresh and they have creative specialty rolls.Good ice cream too. Great addition to the neighborhood

This is my favorite sushi place in the area. It is well priced, good quality, and has quick service. They have a great selection of rolls, all fresh. Super easy to place an order online and pickup, and they do have some casual seating inside. It isn't super fancy but it is perfect for when you crave sushi. My favorite are the spicy tuna and spicy salmon rolls. They do have a unique selection of fried rolls which are super fun. The staff are always nice. Highly recommend!

I have only ever ordered delivery from here, but this place has become my new go to for sushi. It always tastes so fresh and on top of that, my order is always correct! I stopped ordering from my original place because they would never give me my spicy mayo, but Kansai never misses! I even ordered some for my friends a few weeks ago, and they got some rolls I had never tried before, and they were also delicious. Definitely recommend giving them a try if you’re looking for good sushi!
