This is really a gem bakery.
Everything I tried here has been delicious, from cookies,cupcakes, Danish/donuts etc, I am very particular when it comes to my sweet tooth and this place checks all the boxes with taste and even better prices.

Best challah in the entire Philadelphia area. Bought 2 to make stuffing for Thanksgiving & one for us. Also authentic ryes pumpernickels. And super yummy danish & cookies. Everything is terrific here. See you again soon.

Fantastic everything-egg bagel! Had to grab a loaf of chocolate babka too which was also very good, didn’t last long. In biz since 1919?!? I can see why ? ? Service was more than kind as I ogled over all the treats. To another 105 years!!

Great spot. We don't get here often because we live far away but the baked goods were wonderful. Prices were too cheap to be honest. Match anything from here against a tastykake and the choice is clear. Throw that tastykake crap in the trash where it belongs.

Best bagel I've had in a long time!

I recently got the best cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese from Kaplan's and it totally made my morning in the park. It's a very small shop with plenty to offer. With bagels like the one I ate, I'll be back to try some of the other baked goods.

We have been buying our rye bread here for over 40 years. It is the most authentic rye in town. It's fresh and delicious and freezes beautifully. The ladies who serve you are nice, quick, and efficient. You won't be disappointed.
