We drove an hour and 45 minutes from Harrisburg and spent almost $120 to sample this food Philly been hyping up and honestly it was just ok nothing bad but not one thing stood out or wowed us. The shrimp and fried chicken was the best of what we got and the lamb chops was the worst tough and bland. The eggrolls and the fish was mid at best but the biggest positive is the amount of food you get.

I ordered from kee boom express and I tell u one thing the food was good my daughter got fry fish and yams my son also got the same thing they love the food …fish was fried nice not to hard and not to soft the Mac and cheese was good …They loved it.. me and my other daughter had chicken Alfredo was awesome I always order that❤️ the portions is nice size ..U definitely get your money worth. And the food came hot I order from Uber Eats. Please try it for ur self u won’t regret it 😋❤️

So I was on my way home from church and I saw an asian guy.He was doing a instagram or a tiktok and he had a plate of food.A platter of food and then looked amazing his name was Matteats, i had heard mixed reviews, but I said i'm going to try the food for myself.So I ordered a platter, with grains, sweet potatoes, whittngs and a side of fish, anyone who knows me knows how picky I am.But I loved it.I had enough to eat for dinner today and have some for tomorrow.Very tasty I didn't need any kind of anything only thing.I used is hot sauce cause I put hot sauce on everything

Salmon was spoiled and hard as a rock, the rice was bad and it was also hard you can tell it was sitting out all day! Horrible customer service and arrogant manager.
My boyfriend brought us lunch from here. The wait was over an hour for cold food. We ordered the salmon egg roll, fried shrimp, French fries and mini burgers. The was okay because it wasn’t hot I’m sure it would have been better. I use to get the salmon platters when they were at Keefs bar, food and service was always on point! I will try the Frankford location to see if service is better.

My Daughter told me about kee boom. She was right, the food is the best I've tasted in Philly. I ordered the stuffed salmon platter and it was the best; everything had alot of favor , I also had the shrimp pasta with broccoli, just good . No complaints! This place is #1 on my list of places to eat when it comes to soul food.
