Had a great time here! Unfortunately I did have to wait for the rest of the people booked for my same time slot to show up... So I waited like 25+ mins. I get it because it makes sense for the dishes to be served in sequence rather than skipping around but at that point I wish they would've just moved their time if it was possible to the next slot 😅 at least chef started prepping fish while we waited but it was agonizing to watch while I was hungry. Overall the service was very polite and they were quick to clear away plates and between courses and refill my water.

Chef Eric was great and made sure we knew what each piece was (altho I agree with others that with the music that wasnt tooooo loud it was still a little hard for me to hear him sometimes). I think they might overdo some of the showy additions and flavors when the fish quality should show for itself, but maybe it's just geared that way so people feel like they got their money's worth. Foie gras on like two of the pieces just felt like an odd add on, I liked it but I don't think it goes together with eel that well personally and I can't remember the other piece that had it. The gold dust on one of the pieces was a little silly since it doesn't have any flavor, but it does make for a neat video. The bar lighting is def set up for photos. They torch a decent amount of the fish and sauce it. I do think this is still a good omakase deal and was appropriately balanced between an intimate experience and entertaining. I imagine if the bar was full of people though that it might feel too crowded, it was only four of us total for the time slot I was in and I had come alone.

They do some fun stuff for people's birthdays, the guys next to me got a special second hand roll from our chef and singing and they even set off a little popper. I thought the pacing was good once we got started and it went by pretty quickly, I think the experience ended up being about an hour in the end but we were a small ish group for the timeslot. It seems like they do two chefs per bar with staggered seatings? And there's the upstairs in addition to the downstairs.

I'd probably come again, as a treat. Ive only been to one other sushi omakase in the city (it was cheaper and I ended up leaving hungry, it has since shut down), otherwise my other experience was in Japan proper. I was comfortably full at the end of this but I am a fairly small woman with not a hugeee appetite so keep that in mind. They don't do any upsell at the end of the meal if you want more pieces, but they do say you can chill out and finish your BYOB drinks it seems. If I was hungry afterwards I'd get ice cream down the street after or something haha.

I went here last night with my girlfriends and it was such an amazing experience! We sat at the private omakase counter upstairs and loved the intimate setting. The 15-course menu for $95 is an incredible value, especially with how fresh the fish was. My favorites were the toro, uni, salmon, and the eel with foie gras, they were absolutely delicious. Every course was beautifully prepared, and the whole evening felt special without being overly formal. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a high-quality omakase experience at a great price point.

Celebrated my husband’s birthday. 16 courses for $100 each person.

Insanely good! Great variety. Went at 5PM on a Friday because we had a babysitter. We booked the “upstairs indoor” seat and it was amazing. Were the only guests at this table and the chef prepared every course in front of us. Staff was very attentive. Reminded me of Michelin dining.

Very good value omakase for the price! A lot of premium pieces like otoro with caviar, chutoro, hokkaido uni, santa barbara uni, wagyu, unagi with foie gras. Some interesting pieces that you don’t see often either such as a branzino (raw) nigiri

I had a great time here and took my partner’s family along for their first omakase experience. The staff were very accommodating, we were about 10 minutes late due to traffic and they were able to accommodate us and give us a grace period. Of course we called ahead first. They had everything waiting to go when we were there!

There were 15 courses and the highlights were A5 Wagyu with truffle, king salmon, bluefin medium fatty tuna and soy cod sushi.

They also gave us a dessert which was a cake within a cantaloupe. It had cream in between the crevices which added to the flavor.

Out of all the Omakase places I’ve been this is actually TOP 3. I even live in NYC. For the price you’re getting a bang for your buck. It was very flavorful.

Kichi Omakase is truly outstanding. I’ve been to sushi spots all over the country, including several Michelin-starred restaurants, and this one ranks at the very top for me.

The food is always incredible, and the staff consistently makes the experience unforgettable. I live about an hour away, and I still make the trip here at least once a month—it’s that good.

My wife has food allergies, and they always accommodate her with care and attention, which makes dining here even more enjoyable.

If you’re looking for exceptional sushi and a memorable dining experience in Philadelphia, Kichi Omakase is the place to go.

Kichi provided an amazing experience. We had the 15 course omakase, which was totally worth it, especially for the quality of the food. I had the best spanish mackerel I've ever had while here as it was aged to a perfect tenderness. The salmon was nice and buttery, the tuna melt in your mouth, but my personal favorite was the eel with foie gras. The staff was very polite and friendly. I highly recommend giving this place a try, whether for the omakase or the general menu.

I had an incredible experience at Omakase Kichi! The food was absolutely outstanding—each dish was prepared with such care and precision, and every bite was a treat. The staff were incredibly friendly and made the whole experience feel personal and welcoming. The calm, relaxing atmosphere was perfect for enjoying the meal, and I especially loved that it’s BYOB. I brought my favorite sake and it paired beautifully with the dishes. Can’t wait to come back!

12/10. Came from palm beach on business. I wish we had something this good in palm beach. And for the low price - I honestly couldn’t believe it. This would have been 10x the price in palm beach. I have a gluten allergy and they were able to accommodate no problem and still managed to make every dish phenomenal. I highly highly recommend.ask for the red pepper, was my absolute favorite.
