Food was great, especially for the price. I really enjoyed the modern twist on the omakase. It was also for a birthday and we appreciated the little fan fare they did for us.

I had the best sushi omakase experience here. It’s quality sushi put together right in front of you. You are served 15 pieces of gourmet sushi, one piece at a time. I especially enjoyed the smoked salmon, wagyu sushi, raw shrimp, and the oyster. They were outstanding. The edible gold sprayed onto the sushi was special. It’s BYOB so bring your favorite beverage with you. Enjoyed and savored every piece of sushi.

What a wonderful experience we had here. We had a reservation at 8:30pm, luckily for us we were the only ones eating at that time for the omakase. The chef was able to make all the sushi and serve us quickly, which was nice. All the fish was fresh and tasted delicious ?. Kimchi Omakase is truly a gem for the price. I will be back, I recommend you give them a try.

Delicious sushi omakase with showmanship and presentation. It was a enjoyable experience. Japanese decor. Attentive service. Came back 2 days in a row

Very delicious and such a fun experience. Can't wait to go back. Every piece of sushi was fresh and made right before our eyes. Also, amazing service!

Pros: great value ($95 per person, 10% off if you pay in cash), byob, 15 courses, casual environmentCons: they staggered the seating so we felt very rushed (all our courses were prepared for us in about 30 minutes), we had booked the upstairs omakase but were seated downstairs where the 7:00 reservations were coming in and getting settled during our omakase, thus making the chef rush our courses so we couldn’t fully enjoy the experience. This was marketed as a 90 minute dining experience. We also saw the seating after us get a different first course (oyster) which was odd (later the manager let us know the oysters weren’t ready for our seating, but again we could’ve been told to come back at 7:00)I had reached out to the restaurant after explaining our experience felt rushed and we did not fully enjoy it and he just offered us a 10% discount to come back which we at the moment do not plan to. It’s a shame because the food was very good, but as I said, the experience was not up to par with the cost. They would benefit from opening less seating times during the week so everyone can eat together and have a more enjoyable experience. If me and my bf were the only ones who booked at 6:30, I would’ve preferred being told to come back at 7 over a rushed 30 minute omakase.

Overall great value and quality for an omakase. Fresh and high quality fish however some of the flavors were a little overpowering for me such as the lime and very occasionally a little too much wasabi. I really loved the variety and presentation, such as the gold dust even if it is a little silly.

Food and service was A+. I still cannot believe they are offering such great pieces of fish at such a reasonable price point. I have had omakases in a ton of major cities (NY, LA, SF, DC, Tokyo) including Michelin starred places and I thought this place was comparable to some of the places where I had to pay 2 to 3 times more. I would definitely come back. They can charge a lot more for what they are putting out. I was very full when I left.

My daughter and I are foodies. We had a great time there. The bar is limited seating. But the food was phenomenal

This was my first omakase and one of the best dining experiences I’ve had! Staff, food, and atmosphere are all 10/10. Staff was friendly and attentive. Food was absolutely delicious. The chefs made sure to ask every individual person if they had an allergies. We were seated upstairs. The dimmer lighting made it feel so cozy and personal. The 90 minute service was the perfect amount of time to not feel rushed, enjoy every piece, and make conversation if you choose to. There is a parking garage almost directly next door so if you are driving into the city it’s extremely convenient. I will definitely be back.

No pictures, too busy eating the fish. This place doesn't dress up the pieces so the fish really shines through. Our second time here and just as good. Will be back! They opened up additional seating upstairs. We went for the 5 pm. Pieces came out pretty fast. Uni was my favorite. Husband liked the scallop.
