We had a really disappointing and poor experience at this restaurant. We tried brunch and were rushed through our meal and were uncomfortable with how we were treated. I brought a friend from out of town, excited to try something new with him, and was embarrassed that this was where I took him. The experience felt aggressive and dismissive and we felt like we were more of a burden than happy to have us there. The food was fine but nothing great. Their branding/online photos are more enticing than the actual food you are served. I would avoid going here if you want to dine in a relaxing, welcoming environment.

Came here for brunch this last weekend. What a lovely experience! Mind you I don't really approve of brunch - half the stuff you can make at home for 3/4s the price. But this place was great! Staff were so nice, patient and helpful. Small but good drink menu with delicious non alcoholic options as well. We had the biscuits and apricot jam and goat cheese fritters as appetizers. Fritters weren't overly salty which I was worried about. Nicely fried with a refreshing apple jam. Biscuits were excellent - nice and flaky. I had the biscuits with mushrooms eggs and potatoes. Eggs were cooked well but still had a bit of runniness to them. The mushrooms were delicious and it all came with this cilantro dressing. Potatoes were also excellent with some peppers thrown in for good measure. It was so hard deciding what to get because honestly everything, especially the savory dishes, looked fantastic. Prices were reasonable, great experience and even though it was brunch and close to their breaking time before dinner, we didn't feel rushed out at all. Highly recommend them!

This place was underwhelming in its interior and food, but the latte was amazing and the staff was great. I think I was expecting more given the press. When I first heard of this place being vegetable forward I naturally assumed there would be more plant based options, the options weren’t a lot but just descent. We got the Dutch baby and French toast, I would recommend the French toast tasted much better and more balanced, it didn’t even need the syrup it was moist and sweet enough. The Dutch baby was dense and more like a thick pancake, the texture you can refer to the pictures for reference. Like the inside of a sourdough loaf warm from the oven. Interior was very different from the outside, laminated floors and the cheap blue plus tables and bar chairs was not as nice as I thought it would be especially for the price and the hype it’s received since opening. Overall wasn’t impressed with the food and I think for its price point and the chefs who created it I was expecting more. The only thing I would go back for is the vanilla latte, that was great but this isn’t a cafe and an actual restaurant so I give it a 3 starsVegetarian options: The vegetarian options are not clearly labelled so you have to ask, and there aren’t that many options for a vegetable forward restaurant (this term may be misleading) probably won’t recommend to others even as a generic restaurant flavors weren’t great

Lovely place in the heart of the Gayborhood. Many vegetarian options (try the celery root carpaccio), but a few carnivorous dishes also (duck breast). Warm and friendly service. It got very busy on the Saturday night we were there, but somehow, the noise level was low enough for conversation. Well worth a

Delicious fresh food with perfectly paired textures and flavours. Stumbled across Kiddo and so glad I did! The aesthetic is clean and staff very friendly. Can highly recommend the carrots for a light accompanying salad and the pork chop is substantial and the pears and nuts go really nicely with the sweet potato. The non alcoholic cocktails are fantastic and a real highlight too.. don't forget to try as I found them more enjoyable than the alcoholic ones!

We went during brunch to celebrate a friend's birthday. And, from the service (shout-out to Whitney!) to the space to the food, everything was amazing. The service was so kind - checking in to make sure we were cared for. The space was beautiful; it made me feel like I was sitting in someone's home. And the food (shout-out to Wyatt!) was delicious. We got the Dutch Baby and the egg foccacia tartine, and both provided that delectable sweet and savory combo. Highly recommend asking for their pepper paste. We left wanting to come back and bringing more friends next time.

If your friend who knows all the best thrift spots and is always hosting the coolest dinner parties opened a restaurant, it would be Kiddo. To be honest, I don't love most brunch menus; this is an exception. This is the brunch you want to eat: food that is familiar, elevated, but not pretentious. The sourdough Dutch baby is for everyone who wishes pancakes were just a little less sweet. The fermented flavor is present and allows the blueberries to shine. The fried egg tartine is like the better cousin of an eggs Benedict, mainly because the focaccia beats out most English muffins in regards to texture. Ask for the homemade smoked pepper hot sauce, you're welcome. All the staff are lovely, attentive, and personable. You feel welcomed the moment you arrive and feel invited to come back real soon.

Absolutely love this spot! Every dish we had was off the charts including the beets, goat cheese bites, and the brown butter ravioli (top dish in Philly). Definitely worth coming here!

Our first time at Kiddo was a cozy date night escape for my husband and I. The intimate space is filled with bold flavors and genuine hospitality. The charred Napa cabbage and the Creste de Gallon (super fresh, herby pasta dish) stole the show. Chris, our waiter, gave us a warm welcome with great vibes. We can’t wait to go back for brunch soon!Whether you’re vegan, vegetarian, or a meat eater, you HAVE to try this gem out! It will no doubt exceed any expectations you could ever have.

Tried this place for brunch after seeing it featured on Instagram, and it did not disappoint! The decor on the inside was so lovely and vibey. And the food was all fantastic. We tried the vanilla latte special (with house-made organic vanilla syrup), the goat cheese fritters, fried egg & focaccia tartine, the Dutch baby, and a side of breakfast potatoes. You can tell everything was made with quality ingredients and everything was made from scratch (even the sauce that came with the potatoes). We also tried 2 brunch cocktails that were lovely. Will be back to try the dinner menu!

First time here and when I saw the menu I was shocked at how few items there were. I wasn’t impressed by what I read but thought I would give it a try. My husband and I had the winter greens salad, the bucatini and the pepper corn duck. As we finished eating all these items we both agreed. “How sad that a place like this will probably never get a Michelin star”…when it clearly deserves at least one. Every dish was surprisingly amazing.
