The absolute best
I was in the Center City store today and was disappointed. I had gone in to get an ice cream, but there was so much ice in the containers of ice cream (from the sides of the cooler) that I lost interest. Instead I turned to the fudge and candies. I had heard about the high quality, that I was looking forward to the treat. I bought a variety of fudge and some cherry cordials. After trying it at home I gave some to friends who had the same reaction - we all dumped it down the trash. The overall quality was the lowest I have had from any candy store. The ingredients used to make the fudge was poor, tasting more like lard than butter. The cherry cordials had cherry pieces, not quality whole cherries. Save your time and money, and visit any of the other quality candy stores located in Philadelphia.
Super friendly place, really good. The price might be a little bit higher than you expect, but you pay for what you get.
I came in with my two daughters and let us try a variety of fudges and ice creams. Everything was delicious. Lori was phenomenal; if I spelled her name incorrectly, I apologize.
Delicious ice cream and Ben was awesome!!
Jerome was such a friendly kind person to talk to and I the ice cream was amazing!
I hate giving bad reviews. They have to be really bad for me to blow the whistle.
Went in during a slow time. No one else was in the shop. Employees acted disinterested. I paid for 2 small ice creams and got the bare minimum amount. Maybe +$6 is how much a scoop costs in Center City, I don't know. I won't be coming back any time soon. Even had the audacity to ask for a tip at the end of the transaction.
Jerome is the best. Friendly & super patient with first-timers.
I just discovered Kleins ice cream this last year and have now been to several in Florida and we frequent this one in center city. It is surrounded by other ice cream stores but the quality and love put into not only making the waffle cubes and my favorite non Perels every day …. Along with their other chocolate .. wow. The caramel in any ice cream is the best flavor and thickness and Ben who has been there since they opened is just an amazing person.
We stopped in for some ice cream after our meal and I am so glad we did. The ice cream was so good and creamy. I had the butter pecan with nice chunks of pecan. I loved it. In addition they also have chocolates and fish. Definitely going back to try other flavors.
ice cream was good and if you are a red individual you will like it here...owner was vocal w support....the rest of us will run away and support democratic business owners

Ice cream here is amazing come by talk to Ben and Joel they will set you up with the best flavors! Great friendly service. A must stop for sweets!!!
The smell of fresh fudge and waffle cones hits you as soon as you walk in—pure bliss! Their ice cream is creamy and rich, and the chocolates are perfect for gifting (or keeping for yourself). Always a sweet experience.
Delicious treats and great service!
Kilwins in Philadelphia is a must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth. The ice cream is incredibly rich and creamy — you can really taste the quality in every scoop. The staff were super friendly and patient while I sampled a few flavors. The shop itself smells amazing from all the fresh fudge and waffle cones. It’s a perfect stop whether you're a local or just exploring Old City. Highly recommend!
Kilwins Ice Cream is a delightful treat! The variety of flavors is impressive, and the old-fashioned vibe makes it a fun place to indulge. I always find something new to try!
