My husband and his family have gotten food from Sandy (owner) since he was a little boy and now he is in his 40s with a family of his own. Even though we don't live close by for delivery anymore, we still order from them and I will go and pick up the food. Their food is delicious, the price are reasonable and the service is great. Sandy and her team are awesome. When I go to pick up my food and get to watch her in action, it amazes me how she remembers her customers' names, thus the loyalty she gets from repeated customers. She is so nice too. Not only do we order food for our meals, I also like to order her food for parties that I host. Price are reasonable and my guests always compliments the food. Less cooking I need to worry about. Some of our favorites when we order are: general tso chicken, fried wonton (my husband only like hers), sum gum lomein, pork fried rice, chicken wings, boneless spare ribs (one of the best...i tried other places... not the same), spare ribs, stir fry pork bean sprout (i don't see this on other Chinese food menu), sweet and sour chicken. Shrimp egg foo young, and her soups. We tried other items on her menu, but these are our favorites.

They have been there 38 years and their food is still outstanding! Eating there for years. Its a take out place so thats why I haven't gave it a good " atmosphere" ..but the Chinese food served has withstood the test of time. I highly recommend it! And the prices are reasonable!

Anyone who gave less than five stars needs to have their head (and taste buds) examined. By far the best Chinese restaurant to which I have ever been. That's saying a lot, given my status as a former chef at high-end restaurants. PLUSES: The food is always fresh, never leftover or "recycled" like at most Chinese joints; the food is freshly made right in front of you, so you need not worry about contamination; the staff is friendly, hardworking, fast, and efficient; the prices are very competitive; the neighborhood and shopping center are safe, pleasant, and clean; city health inspectors have consistently rated this restaurant the cleanest of any Chinese joint in Philly (check the city's food safety inspection site for proof); the hours, location, delivery, and parking are convenient.MINUSES: Some of the recipes are bland but you can always add included (upon request) sauces, salt, sugar, pepper, etc.; one younger female employee can be rude and impatient at times; on occasion, the parking lot is full but you can always park on Hendrix Street mere yards away.For a mere $10 per meal, you will not beat this establishment with Aaron Judge's bat.
