I’m local and always see lines out the door. I Got jerk chicken and they cooked it with charcoal, not wood and the taste clearly shows. That’s hilarious they getting away with that. The meal was 16 dollars, that’s wild, but I guess that’s what I get for dining in the neighborhood.

The serviced was ridiculous. This low level good for nothing Jamaican so-called restaurant took my hard earned $27.00 and gave me trash in return. All the employees stood by and laughed at my situation when I asked for my money back. They refused to give me the food I ordered cuz they didn't have it (even though it was on the menu) but they my money anyway. They are very unprofessional please do not go there.

Customer service was terrible and so was the experience. My mother went inside the restaurant. She was excited to finally go to this place because she had been seeing it on social media for a couple years now. She just wanted to take a quick video of the food and atmosphere for her TikTok. One of the workers, a rude older Jamaican lady, snaps at my Mother and says “no recording allowed”, “the sign is right behind you”, “you can’t see?”, “turn around and look go ahead turn around and look”. She said all of this with a very nasty and rude attitude. If you’re going to put up a no recording sign it needs to be in the front and way more visible than it is. She claims there’s no recording but we’ve seen plenty videos of people going and trying the food, so when exactly did this new rule come into effect? The food was okay but not good enough to justify that type of disrespect. It’s not good enough to justify any type of bad customer service honestly. I don’t know if the social media clout got to their heads or something, but Kingston y’all need to get it together and learn how to talk to AND treat people.

After hearing about it and ordered oxtail Mac and cheese and sweet potatoes spending 31.00 the food was salty oily and oxtail tough what a waste of money never again going back to 52arch were I know that it's delicious

Looks can be deceiving. I ordered the oxtails pasta pasta. They told me 45 minutes, I left came back had to wait another 30 minutes for my food. The pasta was dry and the oxtails were ok but sweet. And im not being smart either. I drop over 45 minutes for that food and it wasnt even good. If I go back which I probably wont I'll try something different

came from cleveland to check this place out. so much worth the trip. got the jerk fried general tso chicken which was really good. generous portions could last at least 2 days. you gonna wait a bit but it’s totally worth it. definitely will check out again next time i’m in town

The jerk honey fried wings were everything ! They were so good and delicious! The yams were loaded with too much nutmeg. Thats most of what i tasted while eating them, and the mac and cheese was way too salty .The atmosphere was good , but the wait is very long for them not to offer over the phone ordering .
