I honestly would not recommend. I wanted to like this place based on how social media hyped the food up. Somebody lying on these reviews. Not worth the price of the food. It's a no for me.

First and last time visiting this restaurant. Waited over an hour for food that was subpar. Oxtails are tough, white rice (which I indicated I did not want) was super hard, Mac and cheese was super salty, greens and string beans was extra hard, yams lacked sugar but was ok. Ordered jerk salmon but got a honey salmon instead which was pretty good. Definitely not worth the wait or enduring the ghetto experience of the environment. Such a shame I’ve heard good things about this place. Sundays best is still my go to Jamaican food restaurant in Philly.

Hands down one of the best Jamaican spots ever. Don’t let the negative reviews dissuade you, bunch of adult babies over here

So...majority of the things on the menu were either sold out or an hour or more wait. I ordered curry chicken with rice and peas & cabbage. Waited about an hour ½ for my food and when it was time for me to get my food they tell me there was no more cabbage left and I could wait another 30 mins or choose white rice or collard greens. I was hot!!! Because I waited as long as I did, people who came in after me got their food before me and with cabbage! The food was good but the experience of getting my food and not getting what I wanted turned me off completely. I said I might try 1 more time, if I experience the same thing, will have to take it as a loss.

Listen here me out, I know the wait time is utterly ridiculous (I waited 48 minutes after placing my order so be prepared) but damn the food, the portions the customer service was a 10 they just might be the best in the city. They mac & cheese hit different 9/10 jerk wings 10/10 oxtails 10/10. Another small take away they don't be having a few items that's advertised on the menu. This place is a gem...be prepared to search for parking.

Went here because I heard everyone saying how good this place was and the food looked great on social media I get there and the place is not the best looking red flag #1, Red flag #2 their online menu is inaccurate I asked if they had various options and they said no to all the lightskin chick and dude with the dreads laughed when I kept asking about alternatives . Red flag 3, they had food on their chalk board that was obviously sold out which is very bad for business. Red flag 4 they are located in south west philly & I will never waste my time going into one of the most dangerous areas in Philly for food again. Trash! Do better

Here we go again trying to support our people and their business…advertising items they don’t have on the menu…I wanted to order jerk wings, the guy literally said we have chicken but it’s not cooked and we do t know how long it will be before we cook it…wait time is 30 minutes…no orders over the phone…have to get buzzed in…I went bc of a IG review…that guy must have had someone get his food for him on a damn Monday when they had everything they claimed to have had. Disappointing

Overall bad experience at this business! Firstly, the amount of time it takes for them to prepare food after the order has been placed is ridiculous. They initially told us that it would take 40 minutes, but that wasn’t the case. We contacted them after 45 minutes to check on the status of the food, and they said that it was coming up. That ended up not being true, so we finally received our food after an hour and twenty minutes. The presentation of the food was nice (General Tso’s chicken, with a side of greens & rice), but there was way too much salt on everything in the platter. Definitely not worth $35 for one platter.

I ordered general tso chicken mac and cabbage. All I can say is I did not really enjoy the food because it was loaded with too much sodium.

The food is EXCELLENT! The mac and cheese is sooo good and I absolutely love the jerk chicken. They are the best around, in my opinion.

Nasty food, nastier attitudes. The guy manning the cash register was hella rude. The food was extra salty for no reason and chicken had absolutely zero favor. Would NOT recommend.
