Food is usually good but they have a weird obsession with adding cinnamon to my oatmeal even when I did not select cinnamon. What makes it worse is they have no concept of how strong cinnamon is. They cover the entire top of my oatmeal with the cinnamon… you only need a dash of cinnamon.
Being as though I lived in this neighborhood my entire life, I can say that I have never seen this business fall off. They have been a staple since I was young and more than likely beyond that.
The food is the exact type of breakfast food you are looking for. Nothing is over cooked or over seasoned. The food is so good, I find it hard to eat the entire platter at times. It is located in the Strawberry Mansion neighborhood, so the environment may not be appealing...

This place, by far, is the best breakfast food I've had in a long time. Grits, corned beef, and pancakes are a must. The salmon cakes weren't the best but wroth a try.
