Kismet Bagels in Fishtown is a solid spot for takeaway — I’ve been several times and keep coming back. The jalapeño cheese bagel is my go-to (even untoasted, it’s that good), and they’ve got gluten-free options too, which is a plus. Just a heads-up: no espresso drinks at this location, which is kind of a bummer, but the bagels make up for it. Always fresh, always tasty.

Giving a 4/5 because the staff was friendly and the service was quick, but the bagels just fell a bit short. The bread was a bit dense, and the sandwiches themselves were unremarkable. Not bad, just not spectacular. I'd consider them in a pinch.

Food was amazing - exactly what my hangover needed. I had an egg and cheese on an everything and their house green sauce is so good, idk what it is but I like it! Staff was super friendly and food came out quick. Next time I’m in Fishtown this will be my go to spot!

P.s. I definitely was not supposed to be at that red table so don’t do what I did 😆 the folks at JB were very nice about it haha

Today was my first time trying Krismet bagels and I have to say I’m glad I did! Not only was the staff super nice and patient but the food is great too! I definitely recommend you try The Alex. It’s delicious!

meh bagels that seem to keep getting smaller. & I barely got any cream cheese, especially for it being a $2.50 upcharge.

Kismet Bagels – 2-Star Experience

I’ve ordered from Kismet Bagels twice through DoorDash, and while the food itself was good both times, the accuracy of my orders was disappointing.

The first time, I added sausage to the BEC sandwich (and paid the extra charge), but the sandwich arrived without bacon altogether. On my second try, I ordered the same sandwich and added Zhug sauce—again for an additional charge—but it was missing entirely.

What’s frustrating is that while DoorDash issued small credits, they don’t come close to covering the cost of reordering and having another sandwich delivered to my work site. It's clear from the receipt that the customizations were noted, but the staff failed to prepare the order as requested both times.

Unfortunately, the repeated mistakes and lack of attention to detail have made it hard to justify ordering again, no matter how tasty the food is.

45 minute wait for two bagels toasted with cream cheese.... Got the text it was ready and they didn't have our bagels. Got a refund. And they were out of coffee. Figure it out
