Kismet Bagels - Rittenhouse Square

I had the rosemary and sea salt bagel with egg and zhug sauce. One of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had. I’m only in the city until this afternoon but I honestly might go back again for lunch!

North Jersey bagel snob here, but today I ordered an everything bagel with scallion cream cheese, and I must say it's one of the best bagels I've ever had! So good! I am so happy I have finally found good bagels!! Yum 😋

Tiny bagel, wasn’t properly toasted, and the rosemary and salt one had enough salt to make it almost inedible while the rosemary was barely detectable (and rosemary isn’t hard to detect). Overall, a very expensive bagel that’s not worth the hype.

Kismet is a great place to go to for a quick bagel, however their bagels are becoming noticeably smaller. Give us our dough's worth!

Staff are fantastic and dependable - we had a massive catering order, and it was a huge hit. The rosemary sea salt bagel is the best bagel I have had in my life (including trips to Montreal + NYC)

Kismet is a staple in Rittenhouse and throughout the city! Their bagels, unique spreads and sandwiches are fantastic and the staff couldn't be nicer. I always place my order ahead of time and its hot and ready when I get there. Love this place :)

The menu is expensive, we got a BEC on a bagel and it was way overpriced and too small to share with another person. Also, no seating available. The bagel was very average. I think there must be better bagel places around for the same price they charge.

Am I the only one confused by these positive reviews? Literally the worst, smallest bagel I’ve ever had. It was so stale it cut into the top on my mouth.

Kismet Bagels is everything you want in a local bagel spot. The bagels are top-notch--NYC-caliber in the heart of Center City--and the schmears are just as delicious. Their egg sandwich with Zhug sauce stands out, and the coffee and other drinks never disappoint.

You can tell this place was built with love by a discerning Philly couple, and it shows in the welcoming vibe and excellent service. It's dog-friendly, a huge plus, and the prices are fair. Pro tip: Get there early, especially on weekends, because they sell out fast!

I'm also a big fan of their Kismet Luncheonette location in the suburbs--it's worth the trip. The Fishtown location is excellent, too. Philly was missing a quality, no-frills bagel spot like this, and I couldn't recommend it more.
