Such a disappointment I order from this spot very often. I can’t excuse occasionally when the mac & cheese quality is off or the cabbage is under our overcooked what I can excuse is raw chicken salmonella is no joke and I’m currently sick as a dog from eating two chicken wings without looking down. I’m so happy something in my gut said these taste a little chewy. Let me check it out. You have lost a customer for life. Get the quality together.
The stir fry I had and the service was busting😋 10/10

As a foodie, I can attest Kitchen at The Bala is amazing. The atmosphere and food is what makes me come back weekly. The service is 10/10 and the menu always has something I want to try!

It really is sad when a neighborhood is so use to bad food that they will praise some of the most horrible food I've eaten ever. It's bad really when you can't get a piece of fish and fries right. And you sent my sister a fish hoagie. Fish and tomato on a roll. Never again!

It's a bar with four pool tables... tuesday's seem to be karaoke night. Good people. Good drinks. Good atmosphere. And the food is great. Great police to hang out watch the game and listen to music and/or play pool.

Food was good. I believe the gentleman’s name was “rock”, he assisted me with fixing my order right away. I will always appreciate good service that comes with good food.

Cool spot! We’ve been going for years. Josh and all the bartenders are amazing! The food is pretty good especially when out drinking or if you want to order take out or uber eats.

I used to love this place. This place used to be solid but it’s slowly declining into a crap hole. If you go in to pick up food you get patted down all crazy just to pick up a food order. If you order any form of chicken tender meals and order sauce you will be lucky to get their sauce. Since then their chicken quality had become dry and chewy. My order from this evening was cooked with my girls salmon bites and my chicken tastes like fish. Good luck getting any form of a sandwich. When you order a sandwich they make it so sloppy and over load it with food to the point where you can’t even pick it up with out it falling apart. I thought by “making it a hoagie” it would be on a bigger roll that can handle all that but not it’s just as bad even with a bigger roll. Do better, get a better chef or something. 🚮

Would’ve been good if they didn’t burn my Brussels sprouts to a crisp… Mac and cheese tasted good but was really hard around the edges. Seems like the food would be really good in person but they send out bad quality for delivery which unfortunately is a common practice at restaurants.
Shout out to josh and jen the managers/ bartenders. Friday and Saturday, dj is good. One of the last urban establishments not to charge a cover charge!!!!!
The food is great. The atmosphere is great. I just don’t like their bartenders. They’re slow.
Go to spot for a good meal on a late night. Hot honey wings always good, fried wing dings seasoned to perfection, chicken or shrimp stir fry very good, I even had the lamb chops. They are tasty as well. Makes a difference which night you go as well.
I used to go to the Bala Inn to shoot pool, Between the ghetto bartenders and the whole place smelling like fried chicken grease. parking is a nightmare if the lot is full. it's not my favorite place.
