Delicious food, friendly service, quick turnaround time, and very fair prices.
The dine-in setup is very casual — there is table service but you order/pay at the counter & self-serve water. There is a lot of natural light inside, a good view of the sidewalk to people-watch, and the two folks running the restaurant while I was there (possibly the owners) were phenomenally gracious hosts. There is a cold case of to-go snacks and drinks. The rice balls are a must try!
Having tried the chicken galbi lunch box and the squid dolsot, I can enthusiastically recommend both, but the dolsot was truly the star of the show in my opinion. The combination of buttery squid, jammy egg, umami & spicy sauce, veggie mix, and that crispy caramelized rice at the bottom is just absolutely magical.
This is an absolute gem of a restaurant.

Loved it here. Small, family run place. Mike & Emma were wonderful hosts (and, I think maybe their daughter at the register when I ordered). The soondubu-jigae with beef was perfect…probably the best I’ve had.
I asked them to open a location in the suburbs near me. Anyone who lives near their restaurant is very fortunate. I’ll be back, for sure.
Went here with my Korean friend and it was super good, he knew exactly what to get!! Beef and vegetables were amazing, also very nice restaraunt overall. I recommend!!

I love this place so much. I must visit it at least once a week. Their ready to go kimbap and musubi are a must. I also really enjoyed their wings and the spicy pork dolsot . The added bonus is that all the staff are so friendly.

The last two times I've eaten here I get the La Gaibi, and its been very fatty, hardly any actual meat on the bone. And this time I didn't even get any vegetables with my La Gaibi, which is included in the description. I just had meat and rice. For 30.00 this will be my last time ordering from there.
