April/2022Excellent food, excellent service. I have found this place to really exemplify the traditional Korean cuisine. Although the place may look small and humble, let me assure you that the flavors within every dish is a majestic balance between delicatessen and original oriental dishes.

Love how I don't have to really touch anything. I can order ahead or on the iPad inside. The wings are to die for. Crispy on the outside tasty on the inside. Its a little chilly inside if your dining in but the food is always hot

I love this place! Been coming for years. It is an institution of University City. The food is great and the owners are really nice, too.

I stopped by to pick up a quick bowl of pork bibimbap and chigae and had a pleasant time with the staff. The rice is delightfully cooked and the pork was very pleasant. The kimchi chigae was delicious and just the right spiciness for me and the tofu was solid enough to not break when eating.

One of the best place to get food , I’m sad to see the restaurant good after such a long time. I will continue to go to center city in support of this great restaurant

Koreana, what can I say. The wings are great. The customer service is atrocious. If you make a mistake and deliver food to the wrong address, you'd expect them to work with you. However, the Koreana staff continuously hung up the phone, was rude, and wouldn't deliver the food. They sent a refund when we actually wanted to eat the wings. The wings are great but can't bring myself to support a business that treats patrons so poorly.

This place is a go-to for great Korean food for a fair price in university city. I always get the soy chicken wings, beef soondubu, kimbap, or the pork galbi. You cannot go wrong with any of these dishes. The chicken is so tender, crispy and well seasoned. My dad doesn't eat Korean cuisines frequently, but he LOVES their chicken galbi and it is one of his favorite Korean dishes now. The owner of the place is so friendly and kind, and this small business deserves more hype! They were hit pretty hard during COVID-19 and I'm so happy they made it through the pandemic alright.

This is the first time in my life that I have felt compelled to write a review. I’ll start by saying that I have only ever ordered wings from this establishment. I enjoy them so much that today was my 3rd order in a 10 day period. Prior to today I have never stepped foot in the place or had to interact with the staff.I placed an order on Grubhub like I usually do and waited for the order to arrive. Much to my dismay they never did. I received a call from a kind soul explaining that somehow Koreana messed up the address (they deliver themselves) and delivered my order to him. He gave me his address and told me that I could come get them. Unfortunately his location was too far for me to get there and back during my lunch break.Mistakes are natural so I called Koreana to explain what happened. As I began to explain, the staff member that I was speaking to rudely hung up. I immediately called back but reached voicemail. I Called a third time and reached the same result. I waited about 10 minutes and on the fourth try the same lady answered. For some reason she immediately had an attitude. She claimed that I will be receiving a refund in the next 5 business days. I told her that a refund wouldn’t be necessary and that I would rather have her send the wings again. She declined and again rudely hung up on me.As I previously stated, I really do enjoy the food, (well the wings at least) but the unwarranted treatment that I received from that staff member was off putting enough that I will never order from Koreana again.

First time being able to order from here. I usually end up missing them. But straight put the gate five stars! *Me: from food joy* Why didn't I try them sooner?!?! I am in lurve with the Kimchi Jjigae. Admittedly, I am not a pro when it comes to spicy foods but ...Finally a place that is not afraid to make the "regular" with a little kick. The flavour says there is nothing but care and pride in the prep of their kimchi! Warning the bulgogi dolsot is so good that, if your order it, there is a guaranteed bout of food drunkenness in your near future as you attempt to consume it all. Which leads me to my next point... The portions are on time! We kept it simple today, with the kimchi jjigae and the bulgogi dolsot we added kimbap and an extra portion of rice. Figured it would be enough to share with a bit extra but we both ate twice off these portions, with a bit of tasting in between. Well worth the coinage!

Foods are ok, but the service is becoming terrible when they removed the receptionist and replace by tablet system. The system even charge you more than if you order online or the 3rd party app like $1-$3 different.

Koreana is my favorite restaurant in the entire city, no joke. Try the kimchi jigae or the dolsot bibimbap -- it's heaven in a hot stone bowl. Comfort food all the way.

My daughter has serious food allergies so eating somewhere new is always anxiety-provoking. Her university club was meeting here so she called ahead and spoke with management to see what she could eat. The owners were so helpful, careful, and attentive to make sure she could eat safely and on top of that she said the food was absolutely amazing and very reasonably priced. Sending a giant, heartfelt thank you from this far away mom who worries about her safety every day. ❤️
