Omg I can’t believe they had Cooper Long hot Schmear!!? Like it was unbelievably delicious and I can’t wait to come back and get it again like it’s so insane!!! Update!! I came back a second time and got the jalapeño cheddar bagel with the honey habanero Schmear… mind blowing 🤯🤯

Best bagels in the area. Always quick, always fresh, and the prices are very fair.

Garlic was so burnt on the everything bagels that they were ruined.

Order online! Got a very mid BEC, the egg itself was sooo dry and disgusting it made me nauseous to eat. Plenty of cheese and the bacon was good. I wish they put the everything seasoning on the bottom of the bagel as well. The side bagel I ordered was small and dense, but the bagel that came on the vegetable sandwhich I ordered was big and fluffy - don’t love the inconsistency! The strawberry cream cheese is very tasty and sweet. Coffee is decent. Wish there was a button to add hot sauce or a hash brown to the BEC.

This was the best philly bagel i’ve ever had. The bagel was super fresh and the cream cheese was delicious. Might I add perfectly toasted and the staff was super kind.

This morning I woke up craving a good bagel and thought of Slice and Schmear because I had them in the past and felt they were most similar to a NY Jewish bagel. We ordered online and picked up. The order was ready when we were there for pick up. I was super excited to bite in as the cucumbers and onions looked fresh. To my disappointment when I had my first bite it was like biting in to a rock. Not only was it hard from being toasted but because it was burnt the flavor of the everything bagel was gone and ruined the entire sandwich. One thing I will never understand is why people ruin a bagel by toasting it unless of course it’s old or stale. At the very least an option should be given if you want your bagel toasted.

Terrible coffee, watery cream cheese and they didn't toast the bagel. Buy the bagel there and take it home, toast it and apply your own cream cheese and make good coffee.

Slice & Schmear is a quaint bagel shop in South Philly! I stopped in after seeing some positive reviews online.

I got the cragel on a sesame bagel with light scallion schmear. They were very generous with the toppings, which I appreciated especially for only $11. It was a HUGE bagel! I did find the bagel itself to be a bit on the harder side, I would’ve liked it to be a touch softer. The flavor also could’ve been elevated a bit more, but that might have to do with the fact that I got light schmear and not regular.

The value for portion was definitely there. I’m not sure I would come back but overall it was good.
