As long as you can get past the smell of rotting seafood in the elevator (maybe they had just taken out the trash), the actual restaurant is very good. The veggies are fresh and the meats are delicious. It is definitely a fun experience. There are a couple of things I could see as improvements- different color plates for the raw meat and seafood as you end up with a ton of plates on the table and can forget which plate had what on it. It would also be very helpful for the meats...

It is a fantastic place with amazing food ! I recommend trying it. Of course, it is not the best hot pot I have ever tried but it’s definitely one of the better ones in Philly. The food at the meat bar is fresh, only the lobster from the special menu (weekends) seemed a little older than supposed to be. But again, even the lobster was delicious. It’s not like we would have been sick. I have been already 5 times and have never been sick.
