This place is truly a hidden gem in the Italian Market. It could be a busy Saturday or Sunday in the market and they always have tables open! The lunch specials are very affordable and the sushi is absolutely delicious! I never get tired of this place! It's soooooooo gooooooood :)

Had a good time overall here. Shrimp bao buns as an appetizer was quality and filling. Two orders of those could be an entree. Tried the peach soda as well with seafood ramen. Very good portion that I couldn't finish and was quite flavorful.

Cash only, really cozy and perfect place to catch up with friend, happy that my friends always there for me, and I can have a good soup in a cold weather, salad was great, sushi was ok, but I like soup meat a lot.
Warning vegans!!! Their vegan options contain egg. I felt ill after eating and called the store to ask if there was egg in the vegan ramen noodles and they said “yes, it says vegan but it’s not ‘vegan-vegan’. You have to ask specifically for no egg noodles.” When I asked for my money back and told them it was dangerous for folks with egg allergies to advertise non-vegan food that way, they argued with me. 0/10, would never go back.
***Edited to reply to their response - they did argue with me and told me it was my responsibility to ask for it with no egg even though it was clearly labeled as vegan. Additionally, I have not received a refund.
Dietary restrictions: No safe vegan options, food is mislabeled as vegan when it contains egg ingredients.

Fabulous ramen AND sushi at a shockingly reasonable price
This place is a favorite of my spouse's & mine. I would have never thought a place that did both ramen and sushi in the Italian Market of all places would be even remotely good, but I couldn't have been more wrong. The sushi quality is outstanding, putting to shame even some of the dedicated sushi joints scattered through the city. And the ramen is positively delightful, rich and deep in flavor to the last drop. To top it off, every time we settle up we end up pleasantly shocked at the reasonable price. Couldn't ask for more.
Don't be an ignorant buffoon like me, dismissing this place outright because of its location, or scoffing at the sushi not *possibly* being good if they're not a dedicated sushi shop. You'll miss out on some truly outstanding food. Love this place!

Great place, nice decor, small and cozy. Sushi was delicious, standard portion, ordered with different fish and all turned out great
I usually order the avocado and peanut avocado sushi along with seaweed salad.
Great neighborhood spot for satisfying ramen and delicious sushi and apps. Cash only, quick and friendly service.
Kid-friendliness: Great restaurant for our family, they are quick and brought our kiddo learner chopsticks with the rubber band at the back.
