Decent Tacos. Not super filling, but the flavor combination is good. Medium priced,$13.50-$15 for 3 Taco. The prices on Google are wrong as well as the the old menu picture. The Churros are the best I ever had in my life though

Uhm I was really disappointed by this place. It appears like it will be good. But there was deep flavor missing from the Al pastor meat. I also didn’t love the seating arrangement style. Seats were uncomfortable making it hard to get into your food. generally would pass on this spot.

Got takeout from here and was disappointed- bland and underwhelming. The side of guac was tiny and looked grey. Barely any meat in the burrito. Won’t be ordering from here again.

We randomly found this place while visiting Philly and it was SO good! I got guacamole (it was GOOD and FRESH and NOT brown) I also got a steak tostada and a steak taco - the salsas are sooooo good the red one is spicy but me likely spicy so thumbs up. My friend got a veggie burrito and it was so good for her she threw it down in pure excitement! Also super support their lack of coke products <3.

The burritos, tacos and tostadas were amazing. Very authentic. The service was the best part though! They were so polite and accommodating.

If you’re in Philadelphia and looking for an authentic, flavorful, and heartfelt food experience, you have to visit La Chingonita in Fishtown. The food is absolutely delicious—a perfect fusion of Puerto Rican and Mexican flavors that creates a unique and unforgettable taste.

But what really makes this place stand out goes beyond the food. The owners treat their employees with so much respect and kindness, something that’s truly rare to see. You can feel the positive energy and the family-like atmosphere, and that reflects directly in the service.

The restaurant is also spotless in terms of cleanliness—everything is well taken care of from the kitchen to the dining area.

I highly recommend that everyone go check it out, enjoy this amazing “MexiRican” culinary experience, and support one of the best food ventures in the city. La Chingonita doesn’t just feed your stomach—it feeds your soul.
