Excellent service...food was good.. vintage Italian restaurant... noise level from club next door and construction both not La Famiglia's fault but a Nuisance.
This place was fantastic. The food was amazing, the cocktails were fantastic, and the service was second to none. The bill was less than I had anticipated too. I give it 5/5, and highly recommend checking this place out. It's been owned by the same family for 3 generations since the ‘70s, and the family's dedication to the place shows in all the best ways.
Celebrated a birthday evening. Had oysters and carpaccio apps,, both enjoyed table side Bronzino,,, fantastic wine select,,, Barbi,,,, finished evening with Affogato. Service by far excellent. Will go back
Service was excellent. Table was cleared often, drinks were filled, and utensils were constantly changed out. Wonderful demeanor by staff!! The food, I can't go on enough how wonderful it was.
we celebrated our anniversary on Saturday night. As always our night was perfect from start to finish. La Famiglia NEVER disappoints. We are already looking forward to our next visit
I often say the Italian food scene is better in Philadelphia than NYC, and whenever I'm in the City of Brotherly Love I head straight to La Famiglia. Best wine list in town. Cordial and courtesy service.
One of the best restaurants in the city. Food and wait staff always top notch. Try the veal, it's the best in the city.
Amazing! One of the best meals we've ever had. Service was outstanding. Can't wait to go back.
Wonderful dinner and service. Couldn't ask for a better experience. You have to go here.

Absolutely an AMAZING place.
This is a great place, it is old school, High end, DRESS ACCORDINGLY!!
It DESERVES your respect.
Coming here in your dirty hoodie or nasty jeans with holes in them is a sign of horrible distaste and poor character.
Absolutely the BEST wine list in the surrounding area and food that matches.Service that is on time and an owner who is one of a kind.
5 stars all the way. I wish they would bring back dress codes. This place deserves the respect!!!

Everything was delicious. My husband’s filet you could cut with a fork. My veal was so good as well. It’s been years since we were here, but will be back sooner!

Unfortunately I do not like writing reviews that are not positive but when you feel a family night was ruined due to a restaurants greed I must convey this and patrons can make their own decisions.
I have never felt so rushed through a meal in my life. It is so seldom that we are able to go out with our adult children and their spouses for an evening to have it ruined by the waitstaff trying to get us out the door before we even sat down. We left there feeling anxious and not to mention disgusted. My son's jacket has part of the whole Bronzino on it from the attack the waiter made to this poor fish as he was fileting it table side was the most outrageous spectacle I have ever witnessed. All he wanted to do was get it to the plate for us to leave so they could turn the table over. Abrupt and hurried was the theme of the evening.
Most of us wore our coats through the meal since it was a straight shot from us to the front door, every time the door open we had a blast of cold air.
To sum it up the portions were inadquate, the food mediocre and the service dispicable but the prices were right up there with a 5 star restaurant. NEVER AGAIN!!

A delightful example of an old school "Italian American" restaurant, with a wide range of Italian inspired fare. I enjoyed my branzino which was served off the bone at the table, a nice touch for sure. Service was only okay (we ordered wine which never came but still ended up on the bill). Prices I felt were too steep for what it is (my fish was about $55-60), wine carries a hefty mark-up too.

Fave spot, so old school. It’s definitely a leisurely place but the food is incredible and they are so homey and accommodating there! No gluten free pasta, but gluten free options if you need to know! They also have a huge cellar downstairs so the wine list in huge with thousands of bottles!
