I have been going here since they opened. I really do love the food, drinks, and the fun interior. The service however always leaves something to be desired. The people are friendly but absent. I often have to wait to even be asked if I want a drink let alone food to start. I am not sure if it is a problem with not enough staff or inexperienced staff. Overall, the staff needs to be more attentive to customers. The music choices are completely fine but please, please turn it down. I was torn between 3 or 4 stars. I went with 4 bc there really is so much potential here. Bottom line, increase attentiveness and decrease the music volume and we got a phenomenal restaurant!

After reading all the great reviews on this place, my wife and I were excited to try it out for the first time this weekend. The food and drinks were excellent; however, the service was sub-par. They brought out the wrong food to our table multiple times and it took them 30 minutes to bring us our check. Normally, I could look past things like this, it happens. But I checked my credit card statement this morning and saw a charge that was $5 more then what I agreed to pay. I don't believe it could have been an honest mistake because I tipped a very even number to my bill. I am writing this review in hopes that the owner will reach out to make things right. I don't care about the $5 so much, but it wouldn't feel right to let any restaurant get away with shady behavior like this. Until then, I will not be returning and telling everyone I know to stay away from this restaurant.

A hidden gem! Today my girl friends and I enjoyed a beautiful lunch full of belly laughs and great food. The hospitality was amazing and the food was incredible. All the dishes were bursting with flavor. The drinks were beautifully crafted and delicious. If you’re ever in the Philadelphia area definitely stop by and treat yourself to a memorable experience.

Reviewing my ticket from the visit I made to this place, I see that they made a series of small charges that increased my account by seven dollars more. I asked if the tip was included and they told me no, I left a good amount because the attention the waiter gave us was very good and now I see that it WAS included. The place is dark and it is difficult to check your ticket there. So I'm not telling you "don't go", but I am telling you to pay attention to everything they are charging you.

This place is a must! Everything about it was perfect. My boyfriend took me here for a date night, knowing I have high standards for my Mexican food. It did not disappoint. ALL the drinks were so yummy. We got a few different margs and they got better and better. Their mezcal tequila was so tasty. The service was great. I got the Birria tacos and my boyfriend got the asada burrito and both were cooked to perfection. We got the chocolate tres leches for dessert and it was so yummy. The music was so fun but not over powering. I will be back and I recommend it to anyone.

The BEST aguachile in Philly hands down!!! (I always get the same thing, aguachile Verde mix to with extra seafood) Actually, they have the best of everything I've tried there so far. That includes the Birria Consomme, the guacamole, the ceviche, the albondigas, and the crab tostados. I'll add pics the next time I go. I HIGHLY recommend this place, you won't be disappointed! Plus the staff is super friendly.

While searching for "happy hour" places to try I stumbled across this place! They have a great selection of food and drinks for under $7! The sangria may have been thes best I've tasted yet! Ive only been twice and both times I've sat at the bar. The bartenders are so nice! Most happy hours end at 6pm but this place serves until 7pm! They have a lot of outside seating for nice weather, it's a nice little gem you should try!
