Best matcha in the area. Food is good but the portions are small, it’s more for light bites not meals

Please consider changing your hours to when you know you will be open!! I've come here 4+ times during the posted hours to find that it was still closed. Really love it here but need dependable hours.

Had a vanilla latte 20 oz and a croissant sandwhich (turkey, provolone, egg).

Super chill and relaxing atmosphere, and the latter was delicious, smooth, and tasty. Didn't taste like burnt beans at all!

The sandwich was great, too. It was filling and the size to expect it to be. It was a little bland, and in hindaight, maybe I should have added a little salt to it.

Or maybe the pesto sandwich would have a much stronger kick to it, Ill try it next time I go back.

Parking: It's better to walk here, south st is a tough place to park at

Such a calm vibe 😴 visited at 10 on a weekday morning and got a bagel and latte. Service was fast and friendly. I had a few questions for the barista who was able to answer with confidence. I was surprised at how low the cost was! The toasted marshmallow latte was everything I wanted 🥰 it’s also very clean inside, and in a central location to access many useful businesses on South Street. I’ll definitely be back!

I waited for 3-4 minutes as there were no staff taking orders at the counter. A waiter then came out of the kitchen area with a plate of food for a seated customer and returned to the kitchen without acknowledging me as I was stood waiting. Extremely poor form…

Wow just went there today for 1st time and before even tasting the food I felt welcomed. The place is so cozy and owners or workers just greeted everyone coming in as an old friend just finding their way back home. The food was delicious and freshly cooked. I noticed the treats while waiting and asked if dogs were allowed, and she said, definitely. I was in uniform working in the area, so I wasn't able to enjoy the relaxed lounge atmosphere, but definitely looking forward to bringing my furbaby out for breakfast very soon.

Parking: It's still south st so parking is metered and hard to find.

Definitely not the place to get a bagel with CC. Perhaps 10 micrograms spread across the entire thing. My hot latte was good, partners iced latte was bad, but her BEC was good. Overall seems pretty hit or miss. Was told they'd bring our food over, then I had to get up to get it from the counter (they brought another tables food over). The whole experience reminded me why tips at the register before food and service isn't ideal. It was a Monday so perhaps their managers/owners had the day off.

Great food and coffee, but service is less than desired. The food takes a VERY long time to come out and they’re very rarely open during posted hours. 9am on a Thursday and they’re inside chatting with locked doors (and it’s not the first time). If you can catch them, they’re great…but good luck!

When this was La Va, it had a hummus platter, and gluten free bagels, soups, and lots of atmosphere and twice as many tables as there are now, packed all day with people at laptops and conversation. Now it's always scant full. Now no gluten free offerings. Definitely feels like people not from the neighborhood, trying to keep people away.

We walked here as a suggestion from our hotel and we were not disappointed. It did take time to wait in line and then to get our order but it was well worth it. We just ordered the everything bagel breakfast sandwich with egg, sausage and cheese, and it was so good and very filling. We only wanted something quick to get our day started and this place turned out to be a good choice.

Good food, nice coffee, cozy atmosphere, solid wifi, low prices. Hours on website are not accurate (closed during posted business hours on multiple occasions)

I enjoyed the experience of looking at such a magnificent display of esthetic ornaments. Added to that the owners human positivity enriches the visit.
