I've been wanting to go to this place everytime I come to Philly and I finally did last night but I regret to say I will not be returning. I went with my cousin and some friends, we ordered our food and it came, ordered our drinks and it came. Ordered a round of shots and beer, no problem. We are still eating, the waiter NEVER asked us if wanted any dessert if we wanted anymore drinks nothing. After 10 minutes, he returned to us with the check without us asking for it. When we looked at the bill, none of the items were itemized, we basically didn't know what we were paying $311.00 for. When we asked the waiter why did the bill look like that, he didn't have an answer, then he proceeded to ask about the tip and how much were were going to give (very unprofessional). I ordered wings, which were good by the way and we were still enjoying our time at the restaurant, I asked for the menu to order dessert, but the waiter NEVER came back to ask what kind of dessert we wanted, I had to flag him down to place my order, instead of getting dessert I decided to get another drink and of course, he tells me that, alcohol is no lo get being served, why wasn't that said either in the beginning of us ordering drinks. At that point I was so done with being in the restaurant, we left.
I thought the waiter's service was very unprofessional, I felt like we were being rushed. We are paying customers so, it didn't matter if the waited CLAIMED that he didn't speak English, get someone to translate or something. The service we got was not the best; with so much uncertainty going on in this country, to have people come out to eat at any restaurant is a blessing for the restaurant owner, because we are all trying to hold on to every penny.

I ate here yesterday and I was very pleased with the food and service, it is a bit to dark in there for someone who already has issues with seeing clear in the light so that was my only complaint. I plan on going back this weekend with my family.

I've been here several times over the past several years and have never been disappointed. Today, I tried something new (Chile relleno) and it was excellent. Always feel welcome and always leave satisfied here.

Service is usually good, food is always tasty but when I went yesterday everyones but my food was messed up ( I came with 2 people). Someone told our waiter but he didn't do anything about it.
Ordered the Queso Fundido as a starter and the main dish was the Molcajete. The food was excellent. The Molcajete was loaded with meat so it was well worth the price. Chicken, Ribeye, chorizo, and shrimp plus the veggies. Super good. There is plenty of parking so no worries there. I would definitely put this on your list of Mexican restaurants in the area.

So I ordered carne asada tacos and they gave me a whole steak that I had to cut up, flour tortillas in aluminum foil, cheese, sour cream and pico I was puzzled. I gave it the benefit of the doubt but I know this is not what I got any other time I ordered this dish, long story short it was disgusting so I called to see what happened the lady I spoke to just flat out said I’m wrong and that’s how the dish is made she was rude and finally I gave up with trying to reason after that I talked to another “manager” and he explained a lot of nothing honestly think he confused himself with the bs he was talking sad to say I would not recommend this restaurant anymore because of the service P.S
Their chicken and ground beef taste like it came out a dish washer their food is garbage

I thought this was a Mexican place but it is more American and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Me & my Queen was here two weeks ago. We enjoyed the House Margarita, Nachos with Salsa Verde & Salsa Rojo. The Guadalajara Special was good, along with El Postre Flan to go.

I thoroughly enjoyed hanging out with my friends over drinks and food at Las Margaritas. Everything was good, the food was fresh and tasty. The chocolate martini was absolutely perfect.
