This is my new go-to spot for quick Italian-American food! The staff is always very sweet and helpful, and the restaurant is consistently quite clean. The food is ready quickly within the specified time frame, always well-prepared, and still hot on pickup. The quality is good and completely sufficient for a fast, satisfying meal of Italian-American comfort food. Considering its location in/near Center City, the price point is actually affordable, and the portions are large to boot. I highly recommend LaScala's for a tasty, reliable, and affordable meal in the Gayborhood/Hawthorne! 🙂

I ordered $1,500 of catering and they left without the extra trays of water so when we turned the sternos on everything started smoking and the food got burnt. They came back once I called but there was zero sympathy and the food was already ruined. Embarrassing for a client event I was hosting.

my friend and I stopped here for a slice before our outing and we came in for another afterwards lol the crust is crunchy, just how I like it! the garlic knots were a nice addition, too. the people behind the counter were nice and who doesn’t love good customer service?!

I ordered from this place many times and never had a problem, last night when the young delivery driver dropped off my food, he seemed to be arguing with somebody on his phone and carelessly threw my food on my step from the bottom step, this is very unprofessional and ridiculous and I will not be returning.

Only ordered deliver.. but the sauce is delicious. Ordered chicken parm twice & so enjoyed it has lots gravy & nice size cutlet.. I’ll be ordering more esp the gravy items as the sauce was big highlight!! But will return with my review of more entree & sandwiches!!! Glad I tried them out!!👍👍👍👍

I ordered DoorDash at 9pm. Estimated delivery by 9:45. By 10:20 it was marked delivered, but I never got food. You won't answer your phone.
