we love the food from here and have gotten delivery from them within the past month, however this time when we ordered over DoorDash they called us to say we are out of their range. Super confusing since the app let us order. They wouldn’t let us cancel and we didn’t know if the food would ever come. They came an hour and a half later just for the driver to lecture us at the door about not ordering from them again since we’re too far away. We checked our distance from the store… 15 minute. know why they won’t just change their range on the app.

Got these for my mom and it’s supposed to be crab cakes and there’s no crab… just breading and filler.. terrible! We traveled almost an hour to this restaurant and this is the result . Spent over $70!!

I visited this location today for their crab cakes. They were horrible. There was no crab meat but plenty of bread. I called back to the restaurant not for a refund or another order but to express my disappointment. The person that answered the phone was very polite so I complimented him. The food was below expectations. Would not recommend! To their credit, the steamed vegetables were good.

This place is on South Street. And I'm really glad that it opened up because we need more solid businesses here. I come here after work when I need a carb meal. The prices are really good. They do have lunch specials and I highly recommend the chicken Parmesan.

Let me just start out by saying that the food is great, especially the pasta, however, I am giving this place a 1-star rating for their terrible customer service. I ordered through Grubhub and LaScala uses their own driver to deliver the food. I don't know how their system works, but they used an old and incorrect address for my order (which didn't match Grubhub's info). When I informed the driver about the mistake, the driver proceeded to argue with me and hung up on me. After calling the restaurant, finally receiving it, and starting to eat the now-lukewarm pasta, I realized that they didn't even add the meatballs that are supposed to come on the dish (see image below); for a ~$20 pasta dish, you'd think that they'd take a little more time to make sure that the correct items are included. The taste of the food is not enough to make me order from this location again; no customer should be treated this way.

This place shouldn't be in business anymore. My wife just ordered a large Sicilian pizza. To say it was one of if not the worst pizza I have ever eaten would be an understatement! The pizza was basically all dough! Like all dough!! With the most underwhelming cheese and extremely lackluster sauce. Literally my kids could've made this pizza at 5 years old and it would've been better. How are they still in business?? Who knows! But they should have went down with the pandemic closings. This is a waste of an establishment. Do yourself a favor and do not waste your money. There are a 1000 better pizza and Italian food places all throughout the city. Hell, your kids school lunch just might be better!

Delicious food. Huge portions and super filling! One of the few nice places to go it feels in UCity that don't break the bank. I was impressed with the richness of the flavors. Specialty cocktails are a nice addition to the evening.
