The Scarlet Vetter says...... I was out of town in Philadelphia. I was craving Indian food, and so I decided to try this establishment through Uber Eats, to be delivered to my hotel. I ordered Lentil Soup, Garlic Chili Naan bread, Cheese Naan bread, Lamb Biryani, lentil Papadam wafer crisps, Chicken Curry, extra rice, and Dal Makhani. I ordered extra food beyond just my dinner for the night because my hotel room had a refrigerator, and I figured I could eat some the next day. I clearly ordered extra utensils under disposable items, which you can see on the bill, and I also included a note asking for small containers of Green Coriander Chutney. The chutney came, but alas, no utensils were sent along. No napkins either! This was somewhat annoying as I was in a hotel room with no utensils or napkins in the room. However, I was able to go down to my car and get my personal "on the road" reusable set, and napkins, which I then had to use for my dinner. The lentil soup was absolutely fabulous. I had asked for it to be extra spicy hot, and the restaurant certainly delivered on that request. The lentil papadams were light, airy, and crisp. The chicken curry was aromatic and flavorful. The Naans were large and made to order. Yum. If I had known how large they were, I would have only ordered one order. I liked the lamb dish. The lamb was tender and very flavorful. However, I was plagued with shards of bone in the dish, of which I included a picture. Super demerits for that as one chunk was both large and potentially dangerous. Because the food was very delicious and so authentic, I would have liked to have rated this restaurant with 5 stars, but the lack of utensils and the bone shards forced me to downgrade the rating by one star.

The lamb curry had such a beautiful depth of flavor to it. It was soulful. The chicken Tikka masala was also the best I've had in the city. The Pakistani chicken kebabs were so tender, zesty and flavorful. The rice pudding was also soulful, with a beautiful, nutty flavor -- not too sweet, just right. We are already talking about ordering from here again, lol.
Best authentic Pakistani food in Philly. Always good, never disappointing. The owners are very sweet and will work with you to customize catering orders to your liking. We have had a great experience ordering from here.

The food is very authentic. Their Lamb and Goat Biryani's were hot as ordered.....meaning very hot. The owner told me that the peppers they use are extra potent. For the tamer palette, 'medium' will still pack a bit of punch without prompting you to order a side of yogurt. I've also tried their Baingan Bharta, as recommended to my friend who loves eggplant. The best I ever had, and I've had many Baingan Bhartas.....but then, I've previously only had this dish at Indian buffets. Only complaint is that I was charged 5$ for the extra tiny cup of Raita which comes with the Biryani's.

Just ordered delivery and WOW! Best chicken tikka and manchaw soup that I've ever had. Seriously, blown away by how fresh, how flavorful, and balanced everything is. If I had paced myself (it's sooo good, I ate without breathing), I might have been able to finish everything but happily, I have copious leftovers for tomorrow.

This is a great and genuine Pakistani food. The owner Rafeq, is a great guy and very friendly. He explains a lot to me about his journey with his restaurant. The food was such a delicious one and prepared with love and obviously very fresh. Don't hesitate to give it a try, don't blame me if you get addicted ??

Such a cool spot! Probably the nicest staff I've ever encountered anywhere, and the food is amazing! Great event space too for private parties, and such a great location right by the Italian Market. Can't recommend highly enough!! Thank you, Lazeez!!Vegetarian options: The palak paneer is seriously slamming!!!
A fabulous restaurant. We don't know much about Indian food. But we do know when something tastes great. By far, this was the best we have had in a long time. Not cheap. Lunch for two with a single appetizer and tea was $80. Despite the cost, we would return. Street parking was easy.
