Food was great, wine was incredible! Lots of options to choose from. Personally, I would skip the hot dog on the menu but everything else was sooo good!

Bartender was pushing me to drink one wine, rather than ask me what type of wine I like? Come to find the most expensive one. Which wasn’t what I wanted . $24 for one glass? I’m never coming back here again. Ask your customers what type of wine do you like? Don’t just try to upsell the most expensive wine.
Side door entrance up a flight of stairs to a super chill wine bar that sits above its parent The Good King Tavern. Enthusiastic bartenders with solid recommendations. The only negative for this being a wine bar is, despite the rather robust wine bottle list, the selection of wine by the glass is limiting. Just 7 total.

Cool little spot i had forgotten about. Bartender was great, food is on point. Definitely back in my rotation.
as someone who works in graphic design the special’s font is the same as the numbers of prices and is visually an 8. no one told me otherwise, there’s no house wine, also assumed it was since it was a special it would be the cheapest option. was charged $22. it was more expensive than everything else on the menu. also insanely drunk people came out of the bathroom stumbling and slurring their words which was off putting.
We came to Good King Tavern an hour before our res because we are a couple psychopaths, and they said they couldn't seat us but have a cute wine bar upstairs if we wanted to kill some time. Reasonable.
We walked upstairs into the cutest little dimly lit romantic wine bar I've ever seen. That was a lot of descriptors, but I felt them in my soul.
We ordered a bottle of Pinot Noir and got a side of fries ($5) and pickles ($5), as there is no better date night than wine and fries. One of the most underrated combinations in the food game. They are oddly reminiscent of Brandon Roy and Lamarcus Aldridge, just so underappreciated.
We sat there, watching the USC and Florida football games on our respective phones between sips of Pinot Noir and bites of these phenomenal fries. These Good King Tavern fries are my favorite I've had in Philly.
Both of our teams suck this year, but both won that night. HUGE! Le Caveau delivering miracles...

This is one of our favorite wine bars in the city and reminds me of many of a speakeasy you’d find in NYC. They have specially sourced wines, many of them French along with great cocktails and some beers. They have some snacks but not a full menu. It’s good for date nights or large groups, as they have some larger seating areas and shuffleboard. Super fun and incredible ambiance!

We hosted a private event at Le Caveau and it could not have been more perfect! The atmosphere is awesome, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the drinks and food are fantastic! I cannot recommend this place enough to host a private event. My guests have been raving about the party since.

Cozy, delightful, and buzzing. I love the warm, candlelit atmosphere and often end up spending hours here enjoying delicious small bites and sharing a well priced bottle with pals. Also feel like a cartoon following the scent of warm baguettes and hot dogs offered at later hours - a true Philly gem. Shout out to the attentive staff whose recommendations are always on point. Highly recommend popping in for any of their events ! 💕

Overpriced bar with not much to offer in terms of beer, wine and food selection. $8 for one tiny piece of comté—don’t believe the web pics! Red wine was served cold. The “highlight” was the French hotdog, which was fine, but at $10 per will leave you wondering why you came.

Beautiful ambiance and great snacks! Free parking around the neighborhood too but can be tough to find. Private room upstairs for events which is very cool. Great staff, would love to come here again.
Nice little place for a glass of wine
