I recently had dinner at LeBus. Started off with the yummy bread basket. However, my bread plate was slimmy. Brought this to the attention of my waitress and she immediately provided a clean plate. The Salmon in a coconut broth is my favorite. I emailed the restaurant regarding the unclean plate, as I am immuno-compromised and currently on steroids placing me at high risk of infection. I’m leaving this review because allergen safety needs to be taken seriously. At Le Bus in East Falls, we were served bread that contained walnuts, and this was not disclosed. I have a severe walnut allergy and could have gone into anaphylactic shock.

I had the very best grilled cheese sandwich ever!!! Incredible mix of cheddar and fontina cheeses on delicious brioche bread. Outstanding French fries. Yummy carrot cake. Really impressed overall with this restaurant!!!
