I truly believe this is the best place to get the best food in the best city. Their food is incredibly fresh, their stuff is super quick, and everything that they prepare tastes fabulous. There is everywhere else and then there is Lee's.

The sandwiches are NOT GOOD! The roll makes any hoagie and their rolls blow. It's always soggy and greasy.

Incredibly racist owner on top of soggy hoagies. Not a fan. The bread is soggy, NO atmosphere. Would rather eat a Times Square theme restaurant.

I grew up near the original Lee's and went there frequently. When I moved to Center City, I used to go to the store on 17th and Chestnut. I stopped going there and to I remembered why. A couple of days ago I got an email from Caviar offering a discount for lunch. Lee's was one the suggestions. Today, I was in the mood for a chicken cheesesteak, so I thought I'd give them a try. First, the requested mushrooms were missing. Second, fried onions should be soft and browned. These were hardly cooked. I think there was cheese, but very little. Finally, the roll was soft and spongy. It was probably from Amaroso. I know some people like their rolls, but I don't get it. A crisp roll is so much better. All in all, very disappointing and I remember now why I stopped going to the 17th Street store.

Lee's Hoagie House on 11th St has become my go to location for catering. Josh and his team have assisted with my company's meetings, team building events, and lunch/learns with my accounts. Service is prompt, all team members clearly enjoy their jobs, and oh yeah, the sandwiches are banging!!!! Check em' out. You won't be disappointed.

First time being here. I gotta say. The food is great. I had the lees south philly. Hit the spot. Filling, great ingredients and friendly fast service. Honestly I’m glad I just stopped in. Will be coming here more

Lees Hoagie shop is not where I will be spending anymore money and I will let anyone I can know about their terrible service. They sent single bottles instead of the 2 liters we ordered, the salad was wilted and looked like it was sitting for a long time, and the sandwiches we ordered were completely wrong. But the worst part was when I called to notify them. I had to speak with "Josh" who flippantly stated they were not going to do anything because it was an UberEats order.

Lee's Hoagie House is a solid hoagie joint, and I am from South Jersey and the type of person who orders a hoagie when they're "feeling blue" instead of ordering sweets or pizza, so you can trust me on my hoagie recommendations. The bread is soft. The ingredients are fresh. The menu has options for everyone. It's solid. On this trip, we used grubhub and my boyfriend accidentally ordered his hoagie as a salad. Lee's didn't call to ask for clarification. They made a hoagie salad (complete with sides of mayo and Lee's special oil mixture) and when we got there, they asked if that was right. It wasn't, so they made us a fresh hoagie but then also gave us the hoagie salad anyway because it was close to closing and probably no one was going to order that. A phone call to clarify the order before we got there would have been the better experience from a customer service/time perspective but haaaay free hoagie salad!! Also, I might order one of those in the future because it looked delicious with cute little hoagie meat rolls (did not get a photo, sorry). I will note that this location does not accept the Verizon Up coupons (or probably any coupons that didn't come from this location).

Good bread, good meats and cheeses, and good people working here. Definitely one of my go-to hoagie places in the city now.

So, today was my first time ordering from this location and possibly my last (we shall see). I ordered thru Yelp online order for pick up and I am going to have to say I am sadly disappointed and will probably not be back unless I am desperate for a salad in a long roll. There was more lettuce, onions, mayo and oil than Italian meats on this Italian hoagie (if it can called it that). The filling slipped out of the roll, it was so oily that the bread couldn't keep the veggies in. If you want an Italian "hoagie" with 2 slices of meat and plenty of veggies, definitely do give it a try.

Love this place and will absolutely return the next time we are in town. It seems that the owner is hungry to make his customers happy and wants input about his business...that's not something you come across often. The sandwiches were delicious and the small feel of the dining area are perfect. Keep up the good work!
