The food and service is less than to be desired. This frozen piece of whiting is the cheapest they could buy. They used to flour their own, but not wanting to pay the people who worked there is really showing. This is where your greed got you. The next time I’m in town, I’ll head to the other spot at the other end of Lancaster Ave. it’s closer to me anyway. Lil and Kay could smile and welcome people in. They don’t have to spend money there.

The food is tasty, and the prices are very reasonable. For a little over $8, I got a platter of scrambled eggs, pork bacon, and cheese grits. Toast comes with it - they have both white and wheat bread - If it was extra, it was only by a dollar or so. They used to have multiple tables that you could sit and eat at, but not anymore. The back of the restaurant looks like they're renovating, so those tables are not there. That is the only reason I didn't give the atmosphere 5 stars. However, there is one long table up front. There are no chairs, but on it are the various condiments: ketchup, maple syrup, salt and pepper, hot sauce, etc. My fiancé and I didn't want to eat on the train we were waiting to catch, so we ate at that same long table. Standing up and eating was the better option than trying to eat on a fast-moving train and/or bus. Staff is very friendly and accommodating.

I'm biased, Idc ! I've lived in the neighborhood over 30 years and can say that Let's Grub is the BEST breakfast spot this side of West Philly!! They're literally the most consistent with the flavor. All of your favorite breakfast staples are bussin at this spot no kizzy. Don't take my word for it though, just go by there and grab you a shrimp & grits platter with cheese eggs and bacon on the side and crumble that bacon on top ? ? chefs kiss!! Also, try that French toast sprinkled with powdered sugar, with the most deliciously buttery, melt in ya mouth, better than yo mama savoriness in every bite ?!! Now, Idk about y'all, but I like a lil pork on my fork no shade ?. If you just want a sammich, I recommend the pork sausage egg and cheese on croissant ?. Hands down, my favorite breakfast sandwich ??. Finally, I'd wash all of this down with the biggest size half & half ice tea they got?!! Babyyy!! idk who back there blendin that up, but that stuff is fye?!! The prices are on point (?, I don't want them hiking them up cause baby they're affordable right now in this recession), they're friendly, and, they've had the same owners since I was a kid, nothin like a familiar face making you feel right at home. They've also had some upgrades since back in the day iykyk lol ?. My only gripe is that they don't have any type of delivery service cause they'd have my money every day! (Although,I guess that's actually a good thing ?). All i'ma say is TREAT YASELF ‼️
