this place tries to scam you.i bought cat treats, which said it cost $2 on the shelf.then i get to the checkout, they charge me $4, saying they "forgot" to update the prices.i would've no problem with it... but reading the other reviews, it seems this happens all the time, which is probably a scam

made my friend cry when she told them her order was wrong. they were so rude and even laughed and smiled. would not refund or make a new dish. absolutely despicable, i couldn't believe it. i was a constant customer until that. i will never go back

They do not honor store prices listed and when I went to get place an item back on the shelf they watched to make sure I didn't steal it lol. Geeeez smh and it felt a lil racist.

THEY STEAL MONEY! This place will overcharge you on grocery store items. They ring up something at a price higher than what’s listed on the item. Girl did it 4 separate times in one transaction. I had to call them out and watched them more carefully ring up the items again for my grand total to be accurate. She purposely overcharged me - said I owed like $30 when I only owed $20.

A neat place to visit especially for the amazing falafel. One of my best I've had. We order from here many times for staffs of the Philadelphia Asian American Film Festival. But sadly on my most recent visit, I learned that they stopped food service since Covid. So sad to hear. I really hope they resume food ordering soon.
This store has EVERYTHING! I was surprised at the variety and volume of products this convenience/grocery store carries. Dry goods, dairy (fancy euro butter --they have it!), general house paper and cleaning products etc. I took a pic of their Bob's red mill section to remind myself how much stuff they carry. My favorite though is the back refrigerated section where they carry housemade tabouleh, hummus and falafel ??? so good!! Easy to grab on your way to the El at Berks Station for a quick and healthy lunch. The cookies in the front are pretty awesome as well.

Best friendly and reasonably priced convenience market that always seems to have what you are looking to find. Plus Mike's family's own Olive Oil is the best Olive Oil I have ever tasted and cooked - so pure and fresh and reasonably priced. Reasonably moved to the neighborhood and discovered the Liberty Choice Market who always are welcoming and friendly. On bad weather days especially - great to know you can trust Liberty Choice to be close by to get your shop done easily. Thank you! Highly recommend! Best, neighbor Vicvtor

i've been going to liberty choice for like 8 years. i love it dearly. even when it had health code violations, i still remained a loyal customer. but for the love of gourd, please, can someone who runs this place enforce employees wearing their masks????! newsflash: walking around the entire store with your mask down and then pulling it up last second when you see a customer is NOT GOOD ENOUGH. the employees could be asymptomatic carriers, and in that case would be spreading their viral load all around the store all day every day. i'm still giving 3 stars because i really do love this business but dear lord PLEASE start taking this deadly pandemic a little more seriously. shameful
