Local Tavern (Terminal F Hub)

My sister and I stopped by the Local Tavern in terminal F of the Philadelphia airport. Our waiter wore a mask and wouldn’t take our order,, we were advised to pay order and tip before we were served. The only people they waited on and assisted to pay were handsome men, none of the ladies. It was explained to me that it had been that way since the sickness. All of the white women were discriminated against but I guess the si knead doesn’t touch handsome men.

Picture of deep fried pickles showed spear pickles but it was pickle chips. Very greasy and coating was falling off the pickles. Very disappointed ☹️. The beer was cold.

It was a nice place , the food was good. First time that I had to order and pay with my phone only.
Menu is online, order from your phone and then pay immediately from your phone. I don't really like the concept because it completely cuts the human contact. I usually tip according to the service I get, with this concept the tip is before someone brings you your food, witch for myself took a long while before getting to my table.
Waitress did apologize for the delay therefore I would like to think that it was mostliky an unusual situation.

Food smelled great, beer was cold and cheap only $11 for a 20oz. Waiter said go ahead and eat your Philly here since I had got one elsewhere not knowing what I would find.

Probably the best airport restaurant, I have visited. It's near the shuttles and it makes you feel at home and the staff is great. Yes, it's airport prices but I'd rather be here with a good atmosphere and polite staff than pay the same rate somewhere else

The grits are out of this world delicious. Nice side with a cold beer. The app and QR code, like most airports is clunky and rather annoying but a great stop on the sky journey.

Definitely cheered up about my flight delay after stopping at Local Tavern! My breakfast potatoes were seasoned perfectly, and the mimosa is delicious. The staff was friendly, and ordering was really easy. I couldn’t believe how quickly everything came out!

The app is a pain on the neck. Not worth the effort. Male thenAndroid app easier to use. After it put me into a loop twice, I have up and left.

Absolutely EXCELLENT experience; this is what customer service in every airport should look like. Very tentative, very accommodating and can’t speak highly enough about your staff Lauren and Tara who both should be in a managerial role based on how well they treat and tend to customers all around. Excellent experience overall and keep up the great work.

I've been here twice in the last couple of months. Drinks are good. The service is pretty good, but their app is a PITA!!! Change your app for purchases. Flo.io is not user-friendly at all, and I do not want to sign up for an account; I just want to pay. Four adults had issues on two separate visits. Both visits, I ordered two drinks (separate charges) even though I was trying to keep the tab open. Buds & and Marilyn will get my business next time. Have a nice day.
