Sometimes you just want a laid-back spot with cold drinks and great bar food, and this place nails it. The wings and fries are seriously addictive, and the vibe is always welcoming.

Located at 10th Street and Locust Street near Jefferson Hospital's campus. They serve food which I heard was very good particularly the wings. Lots of flavor choices. Several beer choices on tap and plenty of liquor choices. Booths across from the bar and a friendly calm atmosphere on a Saturday afternoon. Lisa was a great server and I met some interesting people here. Planning to go back soon for lunch and good music on the juke box.

The type of bar that every neighborhood NEEDS. No muss. No fuss. Good food. Reasonably priced drinks. And just the right amount of dim lighting at night.

My fav Philly bar. Try to get there every time I’m in town.
Locust Bar is one of my favorite regular spots in Philadelphia. Whether grabbing lunch or meeting friends after work for food and drinks, I always enjoy my visit.
One of the last great corner bars in the Center City neighborhood. It has a certain charm that attracts a wide variety of clientele from all walks of life. A rare find that combines good quality food, good drink selection, and an un-pretentious atmosphere in an area of Philly where so many other bars/restaraunts insist upon trying to be the next hip, trendy gastro-pub. The staff are all very friendly and kind, from bartenders, to the cooks, and the owner himself.

locust bar is a cute lil dive bar with touch tunes that used to have cheap prices. it's usually quiet when i visit, except for quizzo nights when it gets packed! the staff is friendly and they have a wide variety of food and drinks! they have vizzy's and mike's hards which i personally love.
unfortunately after visiting the other night they have raised their prices (at least on the food) :( i am very sad to say i will have to find a new bar with decent, cheap food.
it was good while it lasted, locust bar <3 you were my favorite spot to visit after hanging out in washington square <3 i am legitimately sad about this lol
