I ordered a carnitas burrito and plantains. The burrito was honestly pretty rough. It had a lot of cartilage in it that made it difficult to eat. I get some, especially with homemade food, but this was too much. I had to pick out some from every bite. The flavor wasn't the best either, in a way the meat tasted old. That being said- the plantains were absolutely delicious and a huge serving! Cannot recommend them enough!

The steak quesadillas were so good and the man who takes the orders is so polite! I've been there 3 times and he is always polite. 10/10 food and customer service.

Food never disappoints, personal fave is the California burrito

They used to have the best Birria tacos, super seasoned, perfect amount of meat. Now it’s less meat ( as of my last order, it seemed as though they were rationing, I got more cheese and toppings than actual meat) and little to no seasoning. To be clear this order was at 10/11 am, so it was the start of lunch. The recipe changed! Last year I bought from them constantly, but not anymore. I ordered again this week hoping the tacos were better but I was disappointed, and regretted getting it. It had absolutely no salt at all. The consume used to be so good I’d drink it after eating the tacos. The presentation of their food is always amazing. They are very friendly people.

Think of this as the indulgent (bougie?) Mexican food truck. The food is more like what you'd get in a sit-down restaurant, which makes sense because it takes them a while to prepare it. Not speedy, but not slow either. I ordered the special shrimp tacos and they were great. The roasted poblano flavor was strong, making it clear that they really know authentic ingredients. My tacos were cheesy, gooey, creamy. My fingers were messy and I had to use utensils to scoop up the stuff that fell out of the double soft corn tortillas. Not what you want if you're rushing between classes, or hoping to eat in a hurry. But if you have time to sit down and enjoy your meal, with napkins close at hand, this is a solid choice. Everything is fresh and tasty, with real depth of flavor. They have zucchini blossom and hoilecotche on the menu, too...not your average taco stand. If you're tired of the fast-food-chain-restaurant interpretation of Mexican flavors, this is a significant level up.

Excellent portion size and didn't skimp on the protein in the platter. Meat was underseasoned for my taste but the salsa roja added a wonderful heat and smoke that made this a great lunch. Extremely fast and polite service.

I like this place a lot however after my recent visit i don’t know how to come up with an excuse for them i order tacos and my meat was stubborn and i was chewing for what felt like forever it usually is soft and delicious but this felt burnt and stiff
