Just had my third not-great experience with Lost Bread at the Clark Park Farmers Market. I bought two canelés, two baguettes, and a multigrain loaf. The canelés were completely inedible, burnt on the outside and dry inside. The multigrain loaf was overproofed and gummy, and the baguettes are TBD since I froze them out of frustration.
The person working the table was also rude when I asked for a simple bread recommendation.
Market Day Canelés is my recommendation for canelés, and Dead King Bread has been much more consistent overall.

Would not return. Air conditioner smelled moldy.
Trying Rye Sourdough for the first time, the ingredient list is clean, which is what I want. Found it at union square, the ladies were very welcoming.

Overpriced - not worth the $
Rude management
Kind staff and tasty bread!
loaf was burnt and the staff barely acknowledged us while here
Only stopped here once on a whim but everything we bought was weirdly salty. Would not visit again.
Came here with a friend for the first time ever today and was really excited to try their breads as the bakery usually smells quite alright when walking by. However, the actual product leaves nothing to be desired as all of their selectrion seemed burt and flavorless. Would not visit again.
The staff member who served me had the dirtiest fingernails I have ever seen. Absolutely vile. Completely wasted my money because I couldn’t even bring myself to eat the overpriced sourdough loaf I bought because of how unsanitary their business practices are

I have been buying sourdough from them for months now. Here’s what I like about lost bread: 1. Clean ingredients and naturally leavened (this is the biggest reason why I buy from them) ; 2. Their whole wheat croissant is soooo goood (I’ve never tried a croissant with the same texture as theirs)
The store location only opens two days a week so that’s a bit inconvenient. Other than that, I’ve had good experiences buying breads from them so far.
Really great milk buns! The owner is super nice, knows his stuff about bread.
The Pretzel Shortbread is the perfect snack for everyone who loves pretzels! They are soft, crunchy, sweet, and salty. Perfect pair for ice cream!
After my experience at this shop, I really wish I had paid better attention to the reviews posted here. I have never felt more unwelcome in a business throughout all the years I've lived in this city until now. The management was beyond rude and honestly quite arrogant. My order was taken incorrectly by the staff there and when I addressed it, Alex, who I believe is the owner, very quickly dismissed my complaint and made no effort to resolve it while essentially telling me to quit holding up the line. Looking at some of the other reviews made here, it seems like other customers have had the same experience as I did and it really baffles me that this place still continues to attract business. I honestly believe the recent five star reviews that have been made have been facilitated by the staff in order to diminish the genuine complaints of the community. This city has so many authentically charming and delicious places to eat and I hate that establishments like this somehow seem to get all the attention of the tourists that visit the area.
I love stopping by the Lost Bread Co stand at the Greenmarket in USQ. Their brand is really interesting to me- they have unique flavors
/combos I’ve never seen before. I also love their ethos and focus on sustainability. Really nice owner who I’ve met a few times, too. It’s awesome to see a small business like Lost Bread grow! 🧡
