First time and was pleasantly surprised. Dinner for 4 on weekday. Place was full for 7:45 reservation. Seated promptly, server was cheery, helpful, well informed, professional. Cocktails were delicious. Pea green salad was great as was the hummus app. Two orders of branzino that had bits of seafood accompaniment. Fish was good size, fresh and tasty. Roast chicken was perfectly cooked with mushroom side. Weakest was the crab Louie which was pretty skimpy with the crab ($35!). Had coffee and dessert. Overall, excellent meal.
Everything was great with the exception of the spaghetti and clams. Flavor profile was very odd. I think the wine in the sauce was too intense and not cooked off enough. Our waitress was fantastic.
Location on UPenn's campus is a definite A+ and the food and service are exceptional. Excellent addition to Campus.
Perfect location if going to the Annenberg Center. Plenty of street parking if you are early enough, even on a Saturday. We ate outside but inside looked charming. The Brioche Bread was dry, Mac au Gratin was excellent. 1/2 Chicken was kind of bland, could've used a kick. The Salmon was very tasty and cooked perfectly. Price is about what you'd expect for CC, a little pricey. The hot tea is Harney and Sons which is high quality if you don't know. Service was good as well.
The staff were very friendly and attentive. The brunch menu is pretty cool. The tuna tartare was extremely fresh and delicious.
We always have a good meal at Louie Louie. The burger is a favorite! Our server, Allison, is very attentive and remembers our likes. It's especially important bc I have a food allergy. Allison makes me feel safe. Thx so much!
Had a good experience for brunch with a party of 6+, would return for dinner! Beautiful setting and decor as well.
The food and ambience were fantastic! Everyone in service were super friendly and our server Shane was amazing. The restaraunt is very unique looking(great for taking pics) we really enjoyed brunch.
Cocktails arrived after our entrees. All tasty but not in keeping with the attention expected of a moderately expensive restaurant hoping to live up to French standards
One of our favorite places in University city. Food and service is fantastic. Beware of one thing - they add a 3% surcharge for credit cards then ask for additional tip starting at 20%. Tip inflation is important to the owners of Louie Louie. Wish they would be smarter than that as their prices have inflated a lot over the last 3 years.

I had the cold lobster tail and it was chewy. Friend had chicken salad sandwich and it was so-so. Kelly, our server, was lovely and efficient! Three cheers for her.
Louie Louie is one of my favorite places for lunch. The food is great and servers are always friendly and professional. Chicken Caesar salad is my go-to.
Server Karissa? was amazing! Food was delicious. Environment was comfy and cozy, aesthetically pleasing. Also- shout out to the events Coordinator Ariana who was present and friendly prepping for a wedding and seemed very passionate and great energy..
In short: great food, lively atmosphere, and service that's nothing if not enthusiastic. Louie Louie remains one of our favorite places in Philly.
Went here as a celebratory dinner with friends to celebrate the end of a college summer program and we were very pleased. Service was really nice and the food was excellent. They had a large menu to select from and they listed their allergens. The food was very flavorful and came very timely for our large group. I would definitely recommend the mocktails too! Everything is slightly pricey here though and they did charge us $7.00 for still water… but otherwise check this place out if you’re in the university city and need a place for fancy dining!
