Cash only. Solid food if you stick to the Chinese American staples like general tso, lo mein, wings. A little more expensive than other Chinese takeaways in north phil but that might be due to being right on girard. My main gripe is the hours. Opens at 2 pm but lunch special is only until 3 pm. They are open late but the area isn’t the safest at night. Service is great though as my food is almost always ready within 10 mins of calling. I can tell they hold it down for the community with how busy it can get at times but very no frills

A takeout only Chinese American restaurant. They also sell candy and have an atm. You don’t go for the ambiance. But the hours are late night and convenient. The chicken wings were really good. Affordable cash only.

I asked for pepper steak and they barely put any steak when I called and complained about it they told me I have to pay for extra steak and when I told them that’s not right they hung up now they have me blocked and I can’t even call so don’t expect much from these people they don’t care about us they just want

Food is great??Only thing that bothers me and honestly I understand why they do this is… my food not being ready by the time I arrive. It’s like that because certain foods they make sure are hot and fresh, which is appreciated. But I usually order late and don’t care to sit around

Looks can be deceiving of this restaurant when others leave bad reviews that are not all true. Of course the Chinese store looks rough but it's not their fault ?. It's the food we want I could care less about the aesthetics. This is my third time ordering food from them and I decided to leave a review because I believe in supporting my local businesses in my neighborhood that step up to the plate and meet the requirements. Also what is a big plus for me in this neighborhood is finding a Chinese restaurant or any restaurant that will be open until late and they close until 12:00 a.m. which works for me because I like to eat late at night. Tonight I ordered egg drop wonton soup, large beef lo mein, large mixed vegetable with garlic sauce with a side of a white rice and a spring roll. All of my food was hot fresh and not over seasoned or under seasoned. The people at this establishment are friendly speak good English and take their time when you're ordering your food. I don't understand what the problem other people are having but it's probably because they were the ones bringing the negative energy in the first place. Thank you lucky Chinese restaurant on Girard for another great Chinese food dinner night and more to come.

I asked them to make it extra spicy and it's not spicy at all, even a Midwesterner would not call it spicy

I was surprised my beef lo mein was actually very good. Next time i need to get their large portion. It was ready in ten minutes.
